2G network signals end Dec 1st; 3g signals are ending Jan 1st. Everything goes to AT&T’s 4G, to accommodate smartphones/iPhones. Even the old residential wifi security systems had to be upgraded.
Good riddance.
Cool, where did you hear that,it escaped me
My security co sent a certified letter notifying me of wireless pad upgrade ($195) and I have to get mine and Dad’s done. Sis already has a new one. They had the dates in their letter. I’d never heard about it until they notified me.

My 2005 Nokia 6060 clamshell cellphone auto-upgraded to 4G, but SmartChip went south, so AT&T replaced it after 9yrs.
Different ISPs dates for phones, security pads etc, it appears, as th dates in this article don’t match security co’s letter dates:

It’s confusing, but I’m just getting it done.
There was also a Canadian hidden camera show a few years ago that had some hilarious stuff. One of the funniest ones was a German Shepherd driving a postal truck.

My ol’ 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee ‘Laredo’ has a factory Bose 8 speaker AM-FM stereo, cassette deck and CD with 10-stack changer in rear compartment. 410k miles. 2nd engine and trans. Pristine condition. I’m okay. Too much electronic crap in the new $35-60k Jeeps. Just more stuff to go wrong, IMO.
I hadn’t seen that one. Funny!
