Host Touré: I think that Grubergate is probably the dumbest self-inflicted wound to happen to Obamacare since the rollout of Obamacare. He calls voters dumb, and he contributes to this notion they had to be secretive in order to get this thing passed. Does this become a lasting stain on the way that people perceive this

The TEA Party had these “suspicions” long before the Republicans did.
The Dems and the media thought they could shove Grubergate under the floor but now it’s too big a fiasco for them to cover up hence the lame attempts by top Dems to deny associations with Gruber. Even the media is starting to call out the administration on this, not out of any sense of being impartial, but the realization that more of this keeps damaging Hillary in 2016.

Yes, it’s a lasting stain! And it’s actually what happened, not merely a perception. This doublespeak BS is so, so old. Sick of it.
They definitely were not.
In fact, as far as I can tell, the GOP think we the voters are as stupid as gruber thinks we are.
They may not be on tape saying it, but they definitely think it.
Plus, no doubt a tape of Mitt Romney saying as much will float to the surface on of these days...
