People can riot all they want here in Grand Rapids MI tomorrow. Winter snow warning pretty much quells all violence. Thank god for the weather.
1. Pants-down vs. civil society
2. City cops vs. Pants-down
3. DHS vs. City cops
4. Nat. Guard vs. DHS...???
Good advice, IMHO.
But I’m ticked, because St. Louis Coptalk is down now because of this article. Been following that board for weeks and I’m going to miss it.
People who annoy. Indeed!

Sprinklers up-—and full blast.
This is one of those situations where a so called assault rifle might save your life.
Of course if you killed one of those precious rioters while they were trying to kill you, the entire weight of the media and Obama government would come down on you.
I lived in the bay area when the BART cop shop Oscar Grant. The entire area was warned about riots and violence after the verdict. There was some looting and rioting in Oakland, but not anywhere near what it had been hyped up to be. And most of the people that were arrested weren’t even bay area residents, they were professional rioters, just as they are in Ferguson.
I’m serious, whether you live near Ferguson or not, get a gun. With the waiting periods, limited ammo supplies, and other issues, it’s better to get a gun well before it’s needed than to wait for the last minute. Then, once you have a gun, spend time at the range, weekly or more often, and get another gun. Get a .22 pistol and a bigger pistol. Get a .22 rifle and a bigger rifle. Get a shotgun or two (12 gauge only). Learn to shoot them all well, and do it all before the riots come to your neighborhood.
A good firearm responds to danger at 122 fps or better. A good 911 response is 5 to 10 minutes. Get a gun - as soon as possible. Learn to use it, learn your local laws, and keep your firearms safe but handy.

Some users discussed using water hoses to protect the cops against the protesters. One, under the name Retiree, wrote, I say if the protesters want to use shields and like equipment then the officers should incorporate using the fire dept and there (sic) hoses With the wind and temps what a great way to put a sudden stop to marches and protests.
Seems like a good idea to me. With the low temps, maybe there would be an instant freeze!
An anonymous user who said he was a cop replied, We cant even hit our sticks on the ground.
Oh brilliant!
Obama is hoping the Ferguson Distraction will distract from all his problems ,but it will just give him tons more trouble
Yawn......
I’m glad I live in a small town of about 3,600, and we’re 97% White.
Hysteria \Hys*te"ri*a\, n. [NL.: cf. F. hyst['e]rie. See Hysteric.] (Med.) A nervous affection, occurring almost exclusively in women, in which the emotional and reflex excitability is exaggerated, and the will power correspondingly diminished, so that the patient loses control over the emotions, becomes the victim of imaginary sensations, and often falls into paroxism or fits. [1913 Webster] Note: The chief symptoms are convulsive, tossing movements of the limbs and head, uncontrollable crying and laughing, and a choking sensation as if a ball were lodged in the throat. The affection presents the most varied symptoms, often simulating those of the gravest diseases, but generally curable by mental treatment alone. Hysteric

All this talk of violence seems like their way of intimidating this non-sequestered grand jury into an indictment, evidence notwithstanding. That’s what this is really all about.
I feel comfortable that whatever the outcome of the grand jury decision, there will be no rioting in my neck of the woods...rural, north central Florida. It was just one factor in our decision to get out of the big city when we retired. Too many people, too much traffic and too much crime. None of that on our acreage here in the country where we raised beef cattle.
I like the fire hose idea - that will ward off rioters for awhile. I’m in KC and it’s 15 degrees. Brrrrrr.....
