If we think about how an ice age glacier would start, it would be that one year's ice accumulation does not fully melt before the next winter arrives, and this continues to add ice upon ice.

I am not predicting an ice age, and ice on the great lakes did fully melt this summer, but the water temperatures never fully recovered. As you can see on this chart, the water temperature is the same now as it is typically in the beginning of December. The forecast is for below freezing temperatures in the next couple of weeks, so we can expect the ice to begin accumulating faster, and we could see Lake Superior iced over completely again this winter, and for a longer period of time than last year.

Also, the current snow cover in North America is well above normal:

Lest you think this is all due to the last week's unusual early season artic blast, look at the whole chart. The inner blue line is normal snow cover. The outside blue line is one standard deviation. The red snow cover line has been above normal all the way since August.

Current snow cover:

Global warming is a hoax the democrats and their media use to keep you small.

It’s also used to justify the expansion and the existence of their big government(socialism). “we have to get the government to control or destroy capitalism which is destroying the planet with global warming” is what democrats are saying. global warming is the biggest lie

Okay, now I understand.
The climate change executive orders MUST be signed ahead of this winter’s data collection which will expose the entire fraud.

Can’t wait to see where the Arctic Ice Cap density and coverage land, but based on Osnowla’s threat, John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) and the UN’s push, they know in the spring they will have no change to foist this power grab.

If anything it means Lake Superior is colder than usual for this time of year. There is early ice on the lake where I live too. From the looks of the forecast it will be safe for walking on within a week.

Its usually not safe till about a week either side of Christmas. It was at least 2 weeks early last winter as well.

Georgetown Lake, in Montana. All of the solid white to the right of the road is a lake. Looked at it last week and no ice visible. But, now...

November 14, mid Fall in Boise Idaho, got close to a foot of snow on the ground and was 8 degrees this morning on the 16th. Oh, and this area is the warm “banana belt” part of Idaho.

it is actually several weeks earlier than normal.

A sure sign of global warming .... I mean, climate change .... I mean, weather uncertainty .... I mean seasonal differences.

Or whatever the hell these asshats are calling it this week.

So Obama says he will veto Keystone pipeline until the greenhouse gas issue is settled.

Which means it will never be approved. It is like asking for the cause of human death issue to be settled. It is that complex.

Yet no pushback from MSM. No ridicule on the Comedy Channel, SNL etc.
