Cuban sounds to be on the right side here. He sounds strong. He sounds principled.
Is he so correct on all economic and political issues? Or just on the ones that matter to his bottomline, like net neutrality?

Didn’t he bank roll a cable channel promoting Al Gore’s BS? I could be wrong but I seem to recall he did.

I'm pretty sure his politics depends on whose ox is being gored.
So to speak.

3. The "People" want more gov to protect them so they cant be stopped from getting movies/tv shows OTT.That is straight out of Ayn Rand Far more likely the cable companies who make their big money from reselling bundled television programs would prevent you from getting movies and TV shows outside of their control. They will just happen to slow down and lose packets from Netflix (unless the ransom is paid) so you decide to use the cable company's pay per view.
Right now I don't like the government's efforts because I believe it will be vastly more complicated and controlling than merely saying "broadband companies cannot give priority so some companies' (even their own) packets over other others". I also don't like the broadband companies deciding which websites I should get my full paid connection to and which ones should be intentionally degraded. I paid for a certain bandwidth and I expect to get it without my data suppliers having to pay on top of what I paid. If the problem is that some people are downloading terabytes of data per month, then bring back total data tiers and payments (along with very easy tracking for the customer to prevent overages).

Cuban was hard-left ten years ago, going so far as to bankroll pro-palestinian propaganda and AGW lies.
He’s been very publicly drifting to the right since then.
I think he and his money will end up in the Rand Paul camp in the coming cycle. (And when Rand doesn’t win the GOP nomination, he’ll go third party independent and throw the election to the dem.)

Cuban’s not running for president, so we don’t have to worry about whether his views are perfectly conservative.

"Cuban WAS a Leftist. It sounds like he is moving toward the Libertarian area." ---- "I'm pretty sure his politics depends on whose ox is being gored."With increasing frequency people who were social squish muffins and fell hopelessly in love with Obama's message of nothing are forced to question some of their values and the result is that they are being drawn away from supporting progressive politics, little by little.
They will not be able to bring themselves to join with republicans, but they will (hopefully) begin to seek out better candidates.

Rand was on Bill Maher on Friday, positioning himself as the champion of felon voting rights and legalized drugs (among other things). To me, it sounds like he's intentionally sabotaging his candidacy in the GOP primary to set himself up for a third party run. Just a hunch.
Rand has a history with some very bad characters (Justin Raimondo, Adam Kokesh, Alex Jones, Russia Today & Press TV, etc.)... he never should have gotten that senate seat. He was trouble from day one.
