Thats what this tool of the patriarchy gets for wearing an item of clothing that did not meet with your exacting standards, girls. Sure, he landed a goddamn space probe on a freaking comet, but in doing so, he angered you even more than usual. How dare he?
Revel in his humiliation, womyn.
So theres his apology, if you want to call it that, complete with fake tears and EastEnders-level acting. You can accept it if you want, ladies, or you can make him keep groveling. Just because he made human history this week doesnt exempt him from your righteous fury.

From the article linked above, which is serious despite the title:
Taylor's shirt was a lovingly-made one-off from a frienda woman called Elly Prizeman. Prizeman, who works in a tattoo laser salon in Chelmsford, Essex, wrote movingly on her Facebook wall about the furore:"My heart just broke watching Matt's apology. That is not cool. The public can be unreasonably cruel. I'm saddened and angered by this," she said.
Fine, but feminists, not the "the public" are behind this.
He should be crying about those stupid arm tattoos ...
Why don’t the same feminists complain about the depictions of Thor as a beefy, muscled man? It’s just as unrealistic. Chris Hemsworth makes me feel inadequate. Shouldn’t he be banned from society?
They guy was wearing a shirt with cartoon depictions of women.
The reality is that guys like slim women, busty women and curvy women. Not every guy likes every type of woman, but not every woman likes every type of man.
Even worse, I know plenty of women who enjoy the same sort of cartoon depictions of women.
I’m crying and I only just now saw here...
:^)
Her!
Dagnabit!
Hate when that harpoons. =(:^)
I hate pro forma apologies. I hate fake apologies.
If you have really hurt someone, and you are really sorry about it, then of course you apologize. But if all you’ve done is offend the permanently outraged, then never apologize. Never.
Good point... kind of a pearls before swine kind of thing.
I can kind of see why he might have sported that shirt. He was saying astrophysical science is sexy. I might disagree about how appropriate that is, but to complain about putting women down is only half the story. How about putting men down, by acting as if you presumed this would appeal to them?
The day of the greatest achievement in his life was ruined by a worthless harpy berating him for his shirt. Who knows how much pressure he was put under at work too. That’s what broke him — not a sudden onset of fashion sense.
