Giving Up On Black America

"...... would always disagree because as shocked and depressed as I was over his election in 2008, it was Barack Obama’s re-election in 2012 that helped to confirm my worst suspicions about black America.

In spite of lingering double-digit black unemployment, increasing black homelessness, food pantries with block long lines, inner-city schools that were still failing to meet even nominal standards of proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic, and headline news levels of racial strife, blacks still gave Barack Obama 93% of their vote."

“.....Barack Obama’s re-election in 2012 that helped to confirm my worst suspicions about black America.”....

Don’t lay the blame on all blacks for his re-election, there are one hell of a lot of whites that were that stupid as well. I can understand WHY the blacks were happy to see odumbo at the helm for they saw “hope” for their society and odumbo was that hope. Like millions of others, be the black or white, that “hope and change” hasn’t turned out all that well.

From the article:

Most painful and infuriating for me, however, is that they are the ones that make it almost impossible for me to obey my Lord’s second greatest commandment as stated in Matthew 22:39.

True. Very true.

They are the ones who play obscene music, who can’t speak without cursing, and who have no respect whatsoever for a passerby’s personal space. Their teenage kids are the ones that I see pulling the heads off the flowers in someone else’s front yard, or “keying” someone’s car parked on the street. They are the ones whose soon-to-be-pregnant-and-on-welfare young girls unabashedly describe the penis sizes of their numerous baby-daddies-in-waiting, the girls talking at high volume on the public buses for everyone to hear. They are the ones who make and post videos that give girls a crash-course on how to use their bodies to get on the government payrolls and stay there.

Blacks won’t change until the EBT system stops. LBJ poisoned the black well for their votes. He destroyed the black family, something that the Confederates could never do.

When the EBTs stop, watch out. The major cities in this country will burn. Amidst the corpses and the ashes of the cities, in the months afterwards, only then will the blacks come to their senses.

There are some good black people. It’s a shame the other 93% are giving them a bad name.

I know some of the 7%ers. Some I go to church with. Some I work with. Very good people.

It’s a shame the other 93% are too lazy, immoral, or cannot think for themselves.

Growing up I was aware of my Scot/Welsh ancestry - but I’ve always considered myself an American. I’ve never looked down on anyone because they were originally from France, or Germany, or Russia - or Africa. The irony is that most of the true Africans I have met are great people, whereas most of the afro-americans........

the joys of a rigorous, integrated and knowledge-centered classical Christian curriculum.

This is the result of the conviction that education must have three hierarchically related purposes: to foster a student's intellectual development, and on this base his moral virtue, and on this base his love of God.

progressive education has flooded our nation with cheap, uninformed minds.

The progressives' program for the schools is not reform of the classical method, but the destruction of subjects, fact, lessons, tests, structure, intellect, teaching and learning. Above all the movement represents the equation of education with the perceptual-level, concrete-bound, anti-conceptual mentality. It begins with the pre-conceptual child and trains him to remain in that state for life.

19% of young Black men voted for Mitt Romney in 2012. Don’t give up hope of reaching more young African-Americans who see through the race-baiting.

.."yep, it was the 2nd time they voted for this idiot that really galled me too!"

Yes that was a depressing time. However, I always remind myself there was many white, elitist, progressive dupes that voted for him the second time.

And it wasn’t just that, either. It was Mark Fuhrman allegedly using the “N” word 9-1/2 years prior, and that being treated as a worse crime than OJ killing two whites, and Fuhrman being prosecuted and attacked for it.

The whole OJ thing got rid of any smidgen of white guilt I may have ever possessed.

From the Blaze:

Former NBA great Charles Barkley called out “unintelligent” black people for criticizing successful black people as “acting white” or not acting black enough.

Barkley’s comments aired during an interview on Philadelphia’s WIP radio this week; Barkley reacted to a report that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was considered by some teammates as not black enough.

“It’s a dirty dark secret in the black community,” Barkley said, adding later that “we are brainwashed to think if you’re not a thug or an idiot you’re not black enough.”

“There are a lot of black people who are unintelligent, who don’t have success” who believe “it’s best to knock a successful black person down ’cause they’re intelligent, they speak well, they do well in school, and they’re successful,” Barkley added.

Barkley also said that black people will struggle not because of whites but because of all the “crap in your life from other black people.”

I agree. I think if we, here at freerepublic.com tend to see blacks as a “homogeneous group” and I know it’s easy to do, we have fallen for the communist tripe of “class warfare”. If you call yourself a Christian then the “whosoever will may come,” still applies to all men and women everywhere. And the principle of grace still needs to be evident in our relationships with all who have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God - as we know that without His grace, we could very easily be in their shoes. True wisdom is needed in the way we deal with this situation - I get it. But we can’t just write all people off because they are in a certain group. I think some blacks (yes, it’s a small minority) are waking up. We don’t know that others may follow. The LBJ government programs have, more than anything else, helped to destroy ambition and families among the black community and our culture at large. Why are Republicans not touting this message everyday? Why do they not articulate the benefits of real conservatism (Bill Whittle can help here!)? When I did some humanitarian work in Belarus about 5 or 6 years ago, you could see the damage to those people that lived under a Communistic form of government. Even after the “wall had come down” they had little ambition to improve their lives as the government had “taken care of them” for so long. A very high percentage were alcoholics. Many, many destroyed and wasted lives. So it happens in other places too. The dependencies must be reduced and eventually eliminated. I just hope it can occur before our government enslaves us all. We must somehow show that both political parties are very tied to corporate dollars and interests. The Republican party has an opportunity to jump on this populist angst that is percolating beneath the surface and truly champion the cause of hard working Americans. The Tea Party needs to continue to take the fight to the Rinos no matter how many times the media declares them/us to be dead. But all of us must still seek God’s power to “love our neighbor as ourself.” The Apostle Paul stated that he had become all things to all men that he might win “some”. Don’t look for the crowds but look for individual hearts to change.

Says who? I don’t believe it. I have a black friend in a building next to me and I confront him all the time about how the dems/obola just love abortions. Deaf ears. He is very religious and it doesn’t matter. He loves obola.

“The irony is that most of the true Africans I have met are great people...”

Here’s a little tidbit for you:

Black entrepreneurs in Pretoria’s shantytowns were polled in 2003, with the main question this: What is it you want most to make your lives better? The answers -

1. The rule of law.

2. Contracts.

3. Ownership of private property.

Here’s a recent article showing how fed up the citizens are with their corrupt government:
