I loved working these shifts because it was time and 1/2! Sometimes double pay!

Others whined about working but I would look over the vacation lists, day off lists, holiday lists and place my name to voluntarily work those days.
In the last 31 years of my career I only turned down two days of work because I was exhausted.
It paid off upon retirement!
