I tend to agree with Charles Krauthammer on this matter: If President Obama moves ahead with his desire to not enforce the law as regarding illegal aliens, it is surely an impeachable offense; but impeachment may not be the wisest option, given that it could easily boomerang against the GOP, in terms of public opinion. (And it would probably amount to an empty gesture anyway, as the Senate would be unlikely to convict.)

The possibility of impeachment is a constitutional provision, so no one can take it off the table. My only request for anyone choosing to use it is that they try the case for a high crime or misdemeanor that is so obvious, so egregious, and so universally known and rejected that there is no chance of badly losing the trial in the Senate. It should be a win, or so close to a win, that no one will ever be able to question the wisdom of the action.
So, we are talking of certain conviction.

Charles Krauthammer is not to be trusted. I wish people
could see that. He is playing the establishment’s card.
You guys are being trapped with emotions versus saying fight Obama and nothing else. Constitution or the republican party. Pick your side.
