Donald Trump is stepping up to help newly-released Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi.
Besides facing the aftermath of the seven-month Mexican prison incarceration that he suffered, Tahmooressi is also facing PTSD from his two tours in Afghanistan.
Donald Trump has now sent Tahmooressi a check for $25,000. Whether or not the money is to be used for treatment is unknown. Either way, the gesture is first class.

It is my great honor to send $25,000 to Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi. #marinefreed
Send all the bills to 0bama.
I know I shouldn’t like Trump, but....
A personal theory but I think he was kept as Mexican payback for Fast & Furious, maybe..?
that is a class act .
Where iare the checks from Spielberg or Tom Steyer or Bill gates or Soros who love cutting checks ?..
Kudos Mr Trump!!
Andrew if you see this, TAKE $20k of it and put it away and don’t touch it. This will buy you some degree of peace of mind!
Has our Commode in Chief even commented on the release of the Marine?
Thank you Donald Trump. This action speaks volumes all by itself.
... it's a good thing.
Congratulations to "The Donald."
Mr. Trump is class act.
Semper Fi!
OK, but first a question to see how hot the flame will be:
Did you Serve?

Whatever anyone thinks about the PTSD, it still remains that Tamooressi should have been allowed to just turn around at the border. Lesson from this event and from Ms. Allen’s travails in New Jersey: If asked by the cops if you have a gun where having one is illegal, lie.
I can get where you are coming from...but if you sit back, take a deep breath and think about it all, well, you may change your mind.
These poor guys and gals are sent into these wars by no fault of their own. The people who do not die may be horribly injured both phsically and mentally.
My husband served in Vietnam, back then, the people who were injured badly most likely died. We have better trauma care now, so many of the horribly injured and disabled still live, but the rest of their lives are a real struggle.
Many come home to great familes who love and care for them in spite of severe injuries. Some come home and have nobody and nothing left.
Mybe they all aren’t waht we would consider “hero”, but I know I sure as hell didn’t put my behind on the line in them current wars we are in. If they are not “heroes”, then what the heck am I? A perosn who has done far less than they have for my country. But I sure appreciate the bravery of these young people. They are heros whether or not they are labeled as such.
PTSD is not the issue.
The Marine was not a truck driver. He has not claimed to be a Hero. He has not written a tell-all book.
The Marine made a wrong turn, was held in Mexican prisons since March 31, and spent his life savings on Mexican lawyers trying to regain his freedom.
Donald Trump stood up for him.
If you want to discuss PTSD, perhaps you should start a new thread.
What does any of that have to do with Tahmooressi?
