Pesident Obamas second term in office has been lacking in big achievements. Background checks for gun purchases didnt make it through the Senate. Immigration reform isnt becoming law this Congress, though the president is expected to take executive action on this front. And just last week, Obamas party took a major drubbing in the midterm elections. But there is one potential second-term achievement thats taking more and more shape -- on climate change. The big question, however, is whether Obama can keep it. Late last night, the United States and China announced they had negotiated a sweeping agreement to cut emissions drastically by 2030, a deal that President Barack Obama called a major milestone Wednesday at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Beijing, NBC News reports. This breakthrough follows the proposal Obamas Environmental Protection Agency unveiled in June requiring existing power plants to cut their carbon emissions by 30% from 2005 levels by 2030. But as we mentioned yesterday, next years GOP-controlled Congress will seek to undermine those EPA rules. As the New York Times adds, While the agreement with China needs no congressional ratification, lawmakers could try to roll back Mr. Obamas initiatives, undermining the United States ability to meet the new reduction targets.
Remember, Obama made combating climate change a big part of his second inaugural address. We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations, he said in that speech. And its important to point out that Obamas second-term actions on the climate -- the EPA rules, the deal with China -- are unilateral actions that can be undone by another president. But make no mistake: This is Obamas pet issue of his second term.

ROTFLMAO!!!!
The commie wimp Chuck Todd is spinning a fairytale.
......some legacy indeed....
(The obama regime lies about everything..including "global warming/climate change")
The only legacy there will be is an entire library filled with books and documentaries, all kinds of info and proof, that this was the totally stupidest president we ever had or will have. All his lies, fraud and origins will be revealed for all to see.
It’s gonna be 10 or more years of pass the popcorn and the butter.
P. S. I threw in butter just for you know who!
Chuck Todd Laments Obama As 'A President Whose Potential Wasn't Realized' -
F. Chuck calls it a “win” when his boy, Barry, sticks it to the American people. White liberals, what a bunch of morons.
I think destroying the US medical care industry, nationalizing failed banks and automotive companies, running up trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities and debt, destroying America’s prestige in the world are big enough to give Obama first and second term legacies.
Hurricane Obama never stops blowing...
It’s just one surrendery Munich moment after another with this clown.
Is Gitmo closed yet? I didn’t think so.
Congress should pass a law stating that if a U.S. president travels to a foreign country and signs a global-warming treaty there, while at the same time the U.S. is experiencing record freezing temperatures — as is happening now in some areas — the president’s plane shall not be permitted to re-enter U.S. airspace but instead must land at a U.S. airbase abroad and remain there with the president until U.S. temperatures return to normal.
LOL. Chuck Todd is dropping acid again.
nbc needs to quit smoking the wacky weed
A sweeping agreement, in which it seems China held the broom and dustpan while America just stood there gathering dust.
