Former President George W. Bush said he and his father believe Jeb Bush should run for president but ultimately the former Florida governor must make a decision regardless of any pressure from the family.
I can tell you I can speak for 41, Bush said, referring to the 41st President George H.W. Bush during the official launch of the 43rd presidents book at his dads presidential library center at Texas A&M University. He ought to run for president. He would make a great president.
We can pressure him all we want, but its not going to matter.
You cant pressure somebody on such an important decision. Its not going to cause him to think positively or negatively if we all continue to harass him. Only he can decide.

The Bush name is toxic. Can’t imagine a bigger debacle.
He should run. Just not for office.
The Democrats nominate Hillary, the Republicans nominate Bush, and the Whig Party candidate gets elected for the first time since Winifred Scott.
What does the Holy Ghost think?
As I said earlier, the lesser evil/no matter what crew just needs to not bother faking indignation here. We all know they will talk all conservative now and in a year, scream party unity.
GWB 3
Which Bush are you referring to? I’m confused.
No thanks.
Oh HELL NO!!
Why a crook like Hillary would get a medal of any kind is beyond disturbing. For Jeb to hand it out just shows he’s just not too bright. The intelligence of the Bushes is nothing compared to Ted Cruz. Please let’s have someone intelligent in office for a change.
That’s laughable!
Let a couple of dozen RINO’s split their vote and let a real conservative win the nomination in 2016
No CARBs
Sad thing is...Jeb could slay the Hildabeast.
Two wrongs don't make a right.
That “party unity” stuff won’t wash now or in a year, Norm.; most of us are in the “Crank” party now.
In 2008 after eight years of Dubya the country was ready for a change. And in 2012, Zero was an incumbent. But six years later—as evidenced last week—that portion of the American electorate that decides elections are flat fed up with Democrats’ BS.
We could dig up Harold Stassen and probably win in 2016. The GOP might even win if they jam through a JEB or a Mitt. But they won’t win with the support of many here.
So, if they pull that crap again, they won’t win and the country might even get stuck with ... a fake Indian.
Consequently, if we see the old “The perfect is the enemy of the good!”, “Purist!” and all that other good stuff again from planted RNC commissars, demanding that we vote for a Republicrat, I expect most here will be in the frame of mind to respond, as I will, with a flat:
“Bite my crank.”
