Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber said Tuesday that he regrets saying that aspects of Obamacare needed to be concealed from the public due to the stupidity of the American voter. Do you stand by the comments in that video?, MSNBC host Ronan Farrow asked Gruber, referring to a video of Gruber explaining how a lack of transparency helped Obamacare pass into law. The comments in the video were made at an academic conference, Gruber said. I was speaking off the cuff and I basically spoke inappropriately and I regret having made those comments. Farrow then argued on Grubers behalf that

Tar and Feathers.
He does. He was persuaded at Harvard by a “political science” IIRC Professor, to use his intellect for social good.
Mr. Gruber is one of the lucky, lottery of income. Perhaps he should pay a penalty to me.
Mister Gruber better hope to hell is address isn’t leaked.
All traitors should hang. Right after being beaten and tortured severely.
Yes, I hate these people that much.
I regret you aren’t hanging from the gallows.
Gruber wasn’t the only one lying. The problem is that he was quite specific about lying to the CBO about the numbers. Others are involved and congress should find out exactly who.
Such an investigation could give a real impetus to dismantling and repealing 0-care.
Bingo!
I regret that Obama is our ‘leader’...
I am sure he means I regret saying it PUBLICLY
He undoubtedly meant it
Perfect Quote
Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a
way that you can quickly understand them. This quote
came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has
it figured out. It was translated into English from an
article in the Prague newspaper Prager Zeitungon:
The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a
citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the
Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the
follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the
necessary common sense and good judgment to a
depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their
president. The problem is much deeper and far more
serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what
ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not
blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made
him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack
Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely
to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made
him their president.
Calling Senator Elizabeth Warren - so good at chasing down fraud and deception on Wall Street in defense of us stupid American voters who can’t fend for ourselves - here’s a guy who developed such a toxic bill that they had to lie about it to get it passed and inflicted on the public, and took $400k in taxpayer money to work on the bill while presented by the administration as an impartial analyst to shill for the same bill - how ‘bout turning your talents on the government of which you are a part for your next crusade - oh, wait, this disgrace was advanced by your own Democrat party - never mind....

We should have consequences for these liars. Instead they are emboldened by it all.
People like Ken Lay, Bernie Ebbers and Madoff, and Jeff Skilling went to prison over less fraud.
Obviously quite a few American people are stupid; they voted for Zero twice and believed the hype about Obamacare. Gruber’s sorry about saying they are stupid but is he sorry about lying in order to pass this piece of socialist trash? I didn’t think so.
1. In a way, I feel sorry for MIT professor Gruber, because he will be sweating and losing a lot of sleep over the next 6 plus months as he waits to find out if the Supreme Court will save his arrogant ass or cook it, as it decides for or against Obama's government claim that it was an honest "typo" mistake.
2. Think about this: Do you realize that hundreds of federal bureaucrats studied every word, every comma over and over to make sure that the law said exactly what Gruber and Obama people wanted it to say?
3. "Typo" error: But now Gtuber and other Obama people are crying all over the place----like at the Supreme Court--- because they want people to believe their excuse that their "Typo" error and draft error was simply an honest mistake: They really meant to use the word "federal" where only the word "state" is written. Honest mistake my ass. They knew exactly what they were writing.
4. Imagine this about MIT Professor Gruber:
5. A Gruber student at MIT is called into his office to discuss his term paper.
6. Professor Gruber says he has some troubling questions about the paper.
7. The student tries to defend himself by saying that the "mistakes" were "typo" errors and it was a poor draft done by one of his friends who tried to help him.
8. What do you think Professor Gruber's reaction will be after he listens to all the student's excuses?
9. I tell you what arrogant Gruber will say: "Sorry son, but I don't believe you. You had plenty of time to work on you paper and correct mistakes."
10."So your grade is a big 'F'. I hope this is a lesson to you to be more careful the next time you write a paper here at prestigious MIT."
a rare expression of candor.
the only way that went thru is american public stupidity.
Liberals are sooooooo forgiving of each other...
Yes, the corporation would be held accountable BY THE GOVERNMENT. However, government is not accountable to anyone. Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton can trade on insider information, but Martha Stewart goes to jail, etc.
>>He only regrets getting caught.<<
He was boasting and let his mouth overload his @$$. Your right, he only regrets that he slipped up and exposed himself.
