Yet we seriously and studiously avoid fart jokes and comments.
That’s classy in and of itself.
The jury is still out on this.
Threads are allowed where we ask practical questions of all sorts and often much good information is shared. All in all, I think that's all good.
BUT.
What is not good, imo, is the allowance of tabloid type stories. I have suggested that a separate forum be made for that; but my suggestion has not been adopted.
I do commend you for bringing it up. Perhaps some people will think - what a concept. And might as well plug an oldie of mine.

It’s best not to be serious all the time especially in today’s world. Humor from the gutter up has it’s place and it’s safe to say it’s not just limited to women on FR and it’s also heavily dependent on the post title which can often tell you where the comments are headed. Sometimes just the name of someone implies guilty or leads to the humor.
Sorry, they’re neither Christian nor conservative. They’re pimply faced adolescents with bad teeth giggling over the lingerie pictures in a Sears catalog.
Yes, I’ve been criticizing these idiots for years. Laz and the rest of FR fools fantasizing about a childhood they never had, I guess.

The reason the guilty/not guilty threads start is based on truth and reality, and conservatives have an uncanny ability to point it out and mock it with humor.
It wouldn’t be funny if it wasn’t the truth. The fact is that really attractive women caught having sex with underage males are treated differently in court. If convicted at all they will get a sentence of...well...nothing. There also seems to be a sliding scale based on how attractive they are.
Fear of pointing out the truth is a liberal trait, and their lives are devoted to misrepresenting the truth, or hiding it completely. The liberal mindset is based on fantasy, and their agenda falls apart when faced with the truth.
It’s no different than a black comedian in a nightclub mocking life in the hood, it’s funny because it is based on the truth. Do you seriously think they find the drugs, crime, and murders funny?
The guilty/not guilty threads are the same thing. The black comedian isn’t a racist for pointing out the truth, and conservatives aren’t condoning sex with minors by pointing out the facts using humor.

Humorless people are in my experience absolutely horrible to be around. Self deprecating ones are usually a joy to be around. Which category do you fit in?
