I don't see it that way. Kasich caved on Medicare expansion because medical is such a huge job creator in OH. He did balance the budget, help other 'pubs, and is very good on law and order issues. I think there might have been a "Ferguson Effect" that would want Kasich in there in situations that could get out of hand. Education?...OH has a free at-home online public school option as a safety valve from the public schools. The public sector unions are neutered. His campaign advertising was brilliant.
To win Cuyahoga County and to win 2 to 1 is extraordinary. Granted, his dem opposition, Fitzgerald, couldn't have been a worse matchup against Kasich. And standing tough to the Ebola threat impressed a lot of people in metro Cleveland
Kasich might be the luckiest pol there is. Maybe what we need in DC, with the downward spiral we're on, is someone who's lucky.
You “don’t see it that way” and then describe it as that way.
You don’t need Medicare or Medicaid to expand medical jobsin fact, they cause fewer medical jobs.
Anything “free” in terms of education is at the taxpayers’ expense. Unions will get into the tech sector if they have fewer teachers to sign up. Putting teachers out of a job is good?
Believing in “luck” is quite anti-Christian, too.
