NAACP had nothing to say about the historic elections of Tim Scott and Mia Love the other day.

Tim Scott is the first black Senator elected from a state of the old Confederacy. Mia Love is the first Republican black woman elected to Congress, and the first black Congresswoman from Utah. Both are historic achievements in the history of blacks, one would think.

But because both of these people are Republicans, and conservative in their politics, the NAACP does not consider them black. Go figure.
