If he can do this, why can't he issue an executive order exempting himself from the 22nd Amendment's ban on third terms?

Comprehensive immigration reform:
1. Secure our borders and provide verifiable metrics
2. End the anchor-baby interpretation of the 14th Amendment
3. Make eVerify mandatory and enforce it with large fines
4. Reduce legal immigration quotas and end chain migration
5. Deport illegals upon contact with any law enforcement agency
6. No local, state or federal government benefits of any kind
7. Any health and/or other care billed back to the home country
8. Lifetime ban on path to citizenship for anyone who entered illegally
9. Make illegal entry a felony with a mandatory prison sentence
If somehow Obama does this and somehow manages to stall off a significant response for 2 years, when a Pub becomes President in 2016 (and one will) I would hope he would build a fence so high on the southern border that not a single illegal alien would ever be able to scale it. If we would have to eat 8,000,000, then make sure it is the last 8 million that would ever enter illegally again. Electrify the fence, by the way.

Not that I’m aware of. I’m also not aware of any Republicans who have demanded he explain where he gets the power to legislate.

I agree ... and I also believe doing amnesty will bring some Democrats to the table to get to 67 votes for impeachment. That is why Alaska and Louisiana are so important, narrows the gap on how many D votes we need.

turning the party against him does not matter as much to him as transforming America. If he violates his constitutional authority then the full weight of the law needs come down on him and his actions be deemed null and void.
