When will the IRS and Benghazi hearings start? It is way past time for someone to pay.

The medical device tax is SMALL BALL.

Do Keystone to weaken the president first, then start demanding the repeal of Obamacare entirely

A serious efort would simply be the House defunding the whle of Obamacare and the other laws that carry much of the nonsense that is part of obamacare. That is already forsworn and the effort is not serious. There is too much money to be made. Politicians will not kill their golden egg source.

Remove Obama first. That is the path.

By the time he gets to his leaders chair, there is going to be hell to pay when reality of mandatory business rates kick in.

So far the numbers of policies actually affected is trivial to that which is going to kick in pretty much now.

McConnell and the GOPe do not want Obamacare repealed. Obamacare would be dead today had McConnell not stabbed Ted Cruz in the back last year.

Shut the government down, and Obama will cave in a week.

"He does support full repeal and will continue to push for it," McConnell spokesman Brian McGuire told The Hill...it'll probably have to be suffocated a little at a time to make it finally go away - eliminate the medical devices tax, reduce the government subsidies, make the service mandates optional so that fifty year olds don't have to pay for birth control unless they want to - remove the fresh air of the funding and it'll wither and die on its own......

Don't hold your breath. All this Big talk is just that. If the Republicans had wanted to stop Obamacare all they had to do was not fund it in the budget, which by law has to originate in the House.

I thought up what I think could be a good compromise today.

Trade no Obamacare repeal for no EO on amnesty. Then poison pill Obamacare to death over a series of small “fixes” bills, while running up an immigration bill centered on border protection and no path to citizenship.

But I think that Obama NEEDS that amnesty EO. So when he refuses the deal it’s all on him for being obstructionist and refusing to compromise.

The GOP might be on to something here.

Repealing it bit by bit, forcing the President to sign or veto the repeal of each Tyrannical provision of the ACA, might be a very effective way to dismantle the law.

Knowing how the legislation was originally passed, how Tyrannical and destructive of prosperity many of the provisions are, large majorities of the People will be very angry if 0bama repeatedly refuses to repeal onerous things like the Individual Mandate, for instance.

If the GOP uses this approach, I think the President will be forced to actually sign some of the repeal provisions.

I'm going to enjoy watching 0bama squirm against the will of large majorities of the People in the next 2 years.
