Discussing the protest against the Dorchester Collection hotel chain (owned by the ant-gay Sultan of Brunei) with gay author Brett Easton Ellis in his weekly podcast, McGowan made these comments.

here is an interesting definition: Misogynist: A man who hates women as much as women hate one another. ― H.L. Mencken

If you are at all concerned about trying to get girls in the sack, you have to be nice to them.
Makes sense to me.

Ever notice that women in film used to be voluptuous and curvy?
Ah, like Katherine Hepburn and no-relation Audrey Hepburn?
But you do have a point, Mae West, Ann Harding, Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, etc.
Tastes change. From a Hollywood bio I read, it mentions that WWII drove movie themes from sophisticated wealthy interactions to the hoi polloi everyday life stories.
Probably a lot to do with perception of "health & fitness" as well.
Then again, there's Our Mrs. Reynolds, Christina Hendricks...

I used to love it when my wife watched Charmed. Three hotties running around fighting demons.

Ellis is always getting himself in trouble talking about gay victims, Magical Elves, and the absolute powerlessness of certain millennials.

Considering the incredible uptick in breast augmentation, your argument seems off to me.

Gay men don’t want anything from women. Straight men want the affection and potentially sex from women. Got to be nice to be in the game.

She has begged forgiveness. Faggotry now trumps feminism in the hierarchy of grievances.

I have felt that way for a long tome. Certainly not all gay men are that way, but I have personally noticed some gay men erupting in anger at women and then calling them the ‘b’ word.
