Congratulations to all Republicans and conservatives who worked their tails off to help retake the Senate!! And we added to our majority in the House and added Republican governorships and took many other state and local offices too. We're away from home this morning and all we have here is CNN and so I've heard streams of pundits all calling for the Republicans to "govern" now that they have control of both houses of congress and to compromise with Obama to get things done. Even heard Alan Simpson say we should drop the idea of repealing Obamacare as that's a dead horse. Wrong. Dead wrong!!
Americans obviously want the ship of state to reverse course!! Repeal of the economy-killing, job-killing Obamacare is job number one!! No compromise, no retreat!! No new programs. No new legislation that is not repealing, cutting, deregulating, defunding the beast!! Block Obama at every move!!
If that Marxist SOB moves to grant amnesty to the illegal aliens by executive order IMPEACH him!! No excuses!! If he fails to faithfully execute the laws, IMPEACH him!!
Do not dare allow any more godless America-hating liberal communist judges or other appointees to be approved by the Senate!!
Step up and get serious about getting to the bottom of Benghazi and the IRS and other Obama scandals and impeach/prosecute the perps!!
Stop the unconstitutional legislating from the bench!! Impeach the lawless judges!!
We the grassroots should never give-in, never give-up, Never surrender! Our fight is for God, Life, Family, Liberty, Country!! Our God-given unalienable rights are not subject to negotiation or compromise!! Clear the decks and prepare for action!! 2016 can't get here soon enough!!
The sooner we get this current "constitutional crisis" started the better!!
In the meantime, we need your help to keep the lights on at FR.
FR is funded solely by contributions made by liberty loving people who enjoy and use it.
We are beholden to no political party.
No advertisers, no outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers.
No commercial ads. No annoying pop-ups. No ad tracking. No mail campaigns. No spam.
We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in the support of liberty.
But we cannot exist without you.
If you have not yet made your donation, today would be an excellent day to do so.
Every donation counts no matter how big or small. If you can donate $5, $10, $20, $100 or more, it would be greatly appreciated.
Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible and your continuing participation makes FR the number one pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense conservative forum on the Net!!
And we're going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists and progressives who have infested our government and public institutions and who are dead set on destroying the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given liberty!!

Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors kicking in an extra ten bucks for every new monthly signed up. We already have 25 new monthly donors this quarter.
Or send in a hundred dollars or more per quarter and join I_be_tc's growing list of 300 Club patriots. I_be_tc sends in $100 per quarter and challenges 300 others to do the same. And we have received 114 donations of $100 or more so far this quarter. If we could get 300 FReepers to send in $100 per quarter, these FReepathons would complete much faster.
Send in 25 and help keep freedom alive!!
Thank you all very much!!
God bless.
Thank you very much, CyberAnt!!
Woo hoo!!
And this just in:
$100.00 from California
$50.00 from Florida
$20.00 from Ohio

Sorry to be a pain, and this has probably already been said perhaps a couple times, but I suspect the Republicans will cave to Obama, probably only a matter of a few weeks if not sooner. Yes I know the new Senate will not take place until Jan, but I think they will cave, certainly NOT the Ted Cruz`s...and hopefully I am wrong!
Maybe the House can still keep em honest
In many American households, the Thanksgiving celebration has lost much of its original religious significance; instead, it now centers on cooking and sharing a bountiful meal with family and friends.
Turkey, a Thanksgiving staple so ubiquitous it has become all but synonymous with the holiday, may or may not have been on offer when the Pilgrims hosted the inaugural feast in 1621. Today, however, nearly 90 percent of Americans eat the birdwhether roasted, baked or deep-friedon Thanksgiving, according to the National Turkey Federation.
Other traditional foods include stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
Volunteering is a common Thanksgiving Day activity, and communities often hold food drives and host free
dinners for the less fortunate.

Thanksgiving
Americans commonly trace the Thanksgiving holiday to a 1621 celebration at the Plymouth Plantation, where the Plymouth settlers held a harvest feast after a successful growing season. Autumn or early winter feasts continued sporadically in later years, first as an impromptu religious observance, and later as a civil tradition.
Squanto, a Patuxent Native American who resided with the Wampanoag tribe, taught the Pilgrims how to catch eel and grow corn and served as an interpreter for them (Squanto had learned English during travels in England). Additionally the Wampanoag leader Massasoit had donated food stores to the fledgling colony during the first winter when supplies brought from England were insufficient.
