WESLACO, TX (KRGV/CBS) - Officials are investigating allegations of voting irregularities after legally blind resident Rodrigo Yrigoyen said he was forced to vote against his will.
The 65-year-old said two women knocked on his door, dressed him and took him to a curbside voting center in his neighborhood last Monday. They told him he had to vote for one of the women's cousins that was running for office.
"When they knocked on my door, I thought it was my nurse. That's why I opened the door," Yrigoyen said.
Yrigoyen said he repeatedly told the women no, but they took him to an early voting center and forcefully moved his hand to vote for the candidate.
Since Yrigoyen is legally blind, he does not know who he voted for, but the state election database shows he has been a registered voter since Aug. 20.
"I told them no," Yrigoyen said. "I have never voted in my life, why should I start now? I told them that I wouldn't vote."
The incident has been reported to the Weslaco police, and the FBI has also been alerted of the incident.
The women have not yet been charged, but Yrigoyen wants his vote nullified and the situation resolved as soon as possible.
See video at #20. His registration was mailed in in August and signatures don’t match.
Doesn’t say what party he was registered for ...

That’s because he didn’t. In Texas you don’t register by party but only register to vote.
You select which party’s primary you choose to vote in on primary day. And every two
years you are issued a new regristration card and the process starts over.
“Cursed be he who misleads a blind man on the road. And all the people shall say, Amen.” (Deuteronomy 27:18)
Some Obama agents are gonna have a lot of ‘splainin to do, when they face the One Who gave that command...
My uncle told me of his first time voting back in the 1930s. He was working as a carpenter on a house when the local sheriff pulled up in his car. Sheriff pulled them all over to his car and asked..
Sheriff: “You all going to vote ain’t you?”
They all looked at each other and said yes to get the sheriff off their backs.
Sheriff: “Well, lets load up now and do it RIGHT NOW!”
So they all piled into the sheriff’s car and were driven to the polls.
The poll worker asks..”Are you all OLD ENOUGH to vote?”
Sheriff answers: “HELL YES! AND YOU ARE ALL GOING TO VOTE FOR FDR! Aren’t you boys!”
They all shook their heads “yes”.
So he voted! He was sixteen, and never voted again in his entire life.
Unbelievable. Hope and change -— by force.
Checkmate.
Coordinated effort to commit voter fraud. Traditionally the DoJ would treat this as a major felony and make an effort to track down the offenders. The two who corralled him would be the chief suspect.
However under Eric Holder’s Do”J” this will likely get a slap on the wrist.
98% of the people who could ever have voted for FDR are dead.
... Yet they are still voting
I believe this is more than vote fraud. It is kidnapping and extortion which would have much harsher penalties.
It would take time to check out the rolls, but very important. Many would volunteer to be apart in clearing out ineligible voters.
Social Security often continues to send checks after the named recipient has died. The checks are cashed or deposited into the banks, which is stealing..
