MILWAUKEE In the glow of his recall election victory two years ago, Scott Walker looked like a conservative superhero a soft-faced Midwestern man who stripped public unions of their negotiating powers then crushed their campaign to oust him in a special election. To admirers, he was more than a governor; he was a gladiator.
These days, Walker looks more like any ordinary Midwestern man.
The politician who confidently lectured Mitt Romney in 2012 (He has to say that Im a reformer like Scott Walker, Walker told The Weekly Standard) has tumbled into yet another fight for his political life. Far from a conservative Clark Kent, Walker is visibly straining in the closing days of his race against Mary Burke, a wealthy former Trek Bicycle executive and member of the Madison School Board.
If Walker survives once more on Tuesday, it will represent another win for the divide-and-conquer strategy he has used since 2010 to become the dominant political figure in this traditionally Democratic state. It will also mark a downward revision of Walkers own aspirations: Instead of realigning Wisconsin behind a new vision for conservative reform and perhaps vaulting himself into the White House in the process Walker is struggling to assemble a bare majority that will keep him in the job he has.

His assessment did not quite work out did it?
LOL! All these ball-less pajama boys are hiding under their blankies today!
I’m sure the author will write a full length article about how wrong he was.
In other news Pres. Nero plans Senate Victory tour...
I'm especially gratified by the enormous amounts of physical resources and cash expended by Democrats in these loser elections, particularly North Carolina.
Flush that toilet.
Politico is my new best friend on the left. When they ran the headline last Saturday about Bill Clinton’s foray to North Carolina in support of Kay Hagan, it read, “Bill Clinton Plugs Kay Hagen in North Carolina.” priceless.
from checking out this journalist’s twitter postings, looks like he was very interested in what was going to happen in the Scott Walker race.
So when do the union thugs formulate their next recall? The way Scott is going, he’ll knock ‘em out by double digits.
The only thing “limp” is the editor over at Politico.
God, do they hate him.
Nope, nor natural law, reason, real stewardship, logic, truths, inalienable rights, simple math, morality, personal responsibility, or real charity. IMO.
I’ve been wondering about how the democrats use identity politics to get votes....and how it might be falling apart at the seems.
They pander to everyone: gays, women, blacks, Jews, muslims, etc. - I’ve always wondered how long that can really last.
No consider:
- Record women in congress, many republican
- Black republican woman too
- War against women is a bust
- Many black republicans
- They amp’d up the volume on “war on women” and “racist” to extreme levels and it didn’t work
- OREGON (of all places) didn’t want illegals to have driver licenses
- Hispanics are not as automatically democrat as the democrats think
- Jews are migrating from them
So that leaves muslims and gays!! ...and that isn’t going to work :)
The democrats might not be admitting it but I bet they’re shocked at what just happened...as it sinks in they’re not going to know what to do. They’ve depended on this strategy for a long time.
Liberals dont understand conservatives.

That’s a great list - thanks
Okay, I never understood why Jews buy german cars and vote Democrat....
Democrat journalists will continue looking for fraudulent ways to smear Walker as they sense that he might take over the White House in a few years.
Limps???? ROTFLOL
Propagandico strikes again.
