Sarah Palin congratulated the Republicans on their sweeping victory in Tuesday's elections, but she also issued a warning.
"Now, new Republican Congressional majority in the House and Senate, please realize that Americans were not necessarily voting FOR any party; they were voting AGAINST the continued dysfunction and corruption in D.C.," the former vice presidential candidate wrote in a post on Facebook.
Just like the Democrats got "mauled" on Tuesday, Palin warned the same thing could happen to the GOP next time around.
"The Democrats got mauled today, deservedly so. To prohibit that from happening to the GOP in 2016, it must learn the lesson from the last time Republicans held the Senate majority. This time they must not retreat, and it's our responsibility to hold them accountable.

Cruz and a few others have warpaint. McConnell definitelu wears mascara. He should get some waterproof mascara for his buddy in the House.

I will go out on a limb and say that Julian Castro will be the nominee.

The GOOP will probably get a big head now. They are just liberal centrists. JFK was more of a conservative then the nowadays rePUBlican. Next election I expect Sarah to be the head of the “American Party” with a landslide victory over the GOOP left party.

Very possible. I feel like the Chicago Mob was able to trump the Clinton Crime Family in 2008 (when Hillary was “inevitable”) and could do it again with the right candidate.
I did read that the Clintons have approached Castro to be their VP candidate but he may see how weal Hillary is now and go for the big prize.

There is a positive reason to vote. The founders gave that to you! Now, what are you going to do with it?
If you like a person like Ted Cruz, you have to give him power. He has more power in the majority than he did before.
Buck up!

Hillary is all the Democrats have right now."Oh no, we gave Obama all our eggs and look what he did - he allowed them to be smashed to bits."
"We do have one basket left. Think we should chance it?
Yeah, I think there are some people who aren't reading the writing on the wall. And they will force themselves to believe that Hillary is the only one who can save them and take them to their utopia devoid of God.
Good riddance.

I was just listening to Dennis Prager talking about how Pubs need to be courageous now. Having all the right values means nothing if you don’t have the courage to stand up for them. And people are more willing to listen when you are winning.

This seems to directly contradict what Rush was saying. Mrs. Palin said the voters voted “against dysfunction”. In other words, the inability of the Democrats to get anything done. Therefore, the voters WANT things done.
Rush argued that the voters DON’T want anything done... they just want the Republicans to stop Obama. Gridlock is good.
So..... which is correct?
To: Slyfox
Hillary’s problem will be weaker support from the hard left youngsters and blacks than Baraq got.
I think Republicans would actually have a shot at beating her, unless the Dems can come up with another Perot type to pull off the famous Clintonian plurality win.

Thank you, wise voters! Tonight is a big victory for We the People! Credit is due to the victorious candidates. Your message to President Obama is undeniably received, though he'll try to ignore it.
Now, new Republican Congressional majority in the House and Senate, please realize that Americans were not necessarily voting FOR any party; they were voting AGAINST the continued dysfunction and corruption in D.C. We the People were saying, enough is enough to the scandals, cr...ony capitalism, and utter lack of leadership in Washington.
The Democrats got mauled today, deservedly so. To prohibit that from happening to the GOP in 2016, it must learn the lesson from the last time Republicans held the Senate majority. This time they must not retreat, and it's our responsibility to hold them accountable. Will they fight for reform that aligns with the limited government planks of the Republican platform, or will they return to the big government cronyism and status quo favored by the permanent political class? Will they drain the swamp or decide the D.C. cesspool is really just a jacuzzi they can't wait to jump on into and shake us off?
If GOP leadership returns to business as usual, then this majority will be short lived, for We the People say, once bitten, twice shy.
So, establishment types, remember that you didnt build this! This majority that swept you into power tonight is thanks to the rank and file commonsense conservative grassroots. Thats who built it. And they expect results. They deserve the best for America.
Thank you, SarahPAC supporters. Congratulations, USA! God, please bless our future.

You go Mrs.Palin!
Tell it like it is.
Anyone who thinks the TeaParty is dead is going
to find out how alive we are, and that goes for
EVERYONE in D.C.
We have received a reprieve not a pardon,
now we have to EARN it.
Repubs, YOU have the power, USE IT!
Now is the time, we have TWO years in
which to make a difference, failure to do so
will mean the end of our hopes for an
Amereica we recognize.
