This seems to directly contradict what Rush was saying. Mrs. Palin said the voters voted “against dysfunction”. In other words, the inability of the Democrats to get anything done. Therefore, the voters WANT things done.

Rush argued that the voters DON’T want anything done... they just want the Republicans to stop Obama. Gridlock is good.

So..... which is correct?

Stopping the President means doing something.

For instance:
I sure there are other items but those are a good start.

In my opinion - Limbaugh is right on the mandate. People unhappy with “politics as usual” do not understand “politics as usual” - if by remaining silent and disciplined won the midterm battle for the Reps, then it would be a good idea to stay away from microphones on The Hill, stop speaking openly to the enemy camp, signalling what you are about to do to the in-the-tank media and roll up your sleeves and dole out to obama the terms of his surrender - as Cruz said “mouthful by mouthful” if he won’t eat the whole crow that is in one festering gulp. If obama goes out and demagogues - all the better. Do not. Do not. Do not waste a moment blowing balloon juice in the public eye.
