A. Babbling about the people don't trust Washington After six years of being the ultimate Washington insider, he's still trying to play the "I'm not part of it" game?

The message from last night is to get stuff done, don’t work about politics or the next election - get stuff done.

Re. Immigration.
Preference for Congress to act ... blah, blah, blah ... Boehner had difficultly getting it done ... Executive action with go away if Congress sends a bill he can sign.
By the end of the year.

I predict immigration will be the first Congressional Olive Branch to Obama.
To: nascarnation
Obama likes the Senate passed immigration bill, it’s a good bill, bipartisan, the House needs to pass it. He will use his executive authority until congress sends him an immigration bill he can sign (before the end of the year).

He's essentially saying he will take executive action on immigration before the end of the year that can be replaced later by a bill he can sign. "I'm not going to just wait"
The fight's on ... let's see if the GOP leadership is up for it.

Hope not. Hope they test the veto pen by shoving some other “stuff” through.

Meanwhile, Medved is on another network saying most Republicans support a rise in the minimum wage. Then he went on to trash the Tea Party.
With “conservatives” like this, who needs enemies?

The equivalent of “I’m still relevant” ... hoping the GOP leadership will help him and his socialist ideology remain relevant.

There better NOT be an amnesty bill, that he likes, presented by Pubbies.
