First-term Democratic Rep. John Delaney was trailing Republican Dan Bongino late Tuesday night in his bid to win a second two-year term representing Maryland's 6th Congressional District, according to incomplete and unofficial results from the Maryland State Board of Elections.
Bongino who was polling well among Washington County voters had 51,031 votes to 50,899 for Delaney in districtwide voting at 10:30 p.m. to lead 49 percent to 48 percent, according to the board of elections.

Part of the district is in Montgomery county, and that’s what Delaney is counting on for a firewall.
Problem is, Delaney doesn’t even live in his district - never seen him here. Bongino was walking this district every chance e had.
The fact that Western Marylanders are forced into the same district as MoCo is pathetic. Gerrymandering at its finest/worst.
I really hope Bongino wins tonight. I really like that guy.
They haven’t counted the absentee vote yet. If it goes the same as early voting that could put it back to Delaney.
Thanks - I was wondering about that ...
Bongino is now down by 500 votes in the MD Elections Board Page.
And it’s probably at worst the third most gerrymandered district in the state. MD-3 is the most gerrymandered district in the entire US, and MD-2 is #3 in the country.
We’ll get Van Hollow next time.
Fox 45 shows Bongino up by just under 2,200 votes.
Dan Bongino - R 77,262 50%
John Delaney - D 75,094 48%
George Gluck - 3,027 2%
Well it looks like those 7000 illegal voters in Fredrick County have turned the tide for Delaney. I wonder if VVA’s and Election Integrity Maryland’s lawsuits can overturn the election results.
Well the MD site has Bongino down by 1800.

According to the numbers you quoted, absentee ballots have yet to be counted. They may make the difference between victory and defeat, especially if they’re mainly military personnel.
Let’s hope so.
Maybe yor new governor can help fix that...
That sucks. Bongino would be a good public servant.
Thanks - I had to go to bed. It does show how thin the Rat hold is in the 6th district though ...
