Barack Obama to campaign for Anthony Brown, Pat Quinn

Illinois is the worst-governed state in the nation. It has high unemployment, poor economic performance, billions in unfunded pension liabilities, billions in unpaid bills, failing schools, the worst credit rating in the country, and rampant corruption and cronyism. According to a recent Gallup poll, a whopping 50 percent of respondents would even choose to move out of state if they had the chance.
For these reasons, voters in The Prairie State have chosen to pass on re-electing Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn, or the “failure,” as Republican challenger Bruce Rauner pegged him on the campaign trail.
Instead, they’re taking a chance on Rauner, a multimillionaire who has an economic vision to rescue Illinois from its downward spiral, and who's pledged to root out “waste, fraud, and corruption” in the state in which four of the last nine governors have gone to prison.

Yes, but in true Rat fashion, Quinn’s bimbo ‘communications director’ was screeching like a harpy 20 minutes ago about how there still could be hundreds of thousands of votes to count, and Quinn will not concede until “every voice is heard”. She sounded like a wind-up doll. These people have no shame.
Yes, that’s really another slap in the face. If the new gov still has to put up with the old guard, not much will change. But I will try to be more positive. Nite, I’m tired.

Trailing by 300,000 votes with 94% of the precincts reporting, incumbent Governor Pat Quinn (D) has refused to concede the election and congratulate his opponent Bruce Rauner (R).
A low class finish to a sleazy campaign. It is an open question if Quinn will be prosecuted for misconduct relating to his 2010 election campaign.
Still good to see Turban Durbin reduced to a minority position in the new Congress.
What do you expect from a DemoRat?
They could still find 310,000 dem votes in a truck somewhere...
A RINO in bed with Rahm Emanuel won the Governorship of Illinois... which pretty much brings us full circle to the way things were under our last "Republican" Governor from 1998-2002.
