Senate: Republicans have locked up 51 seats, ahead in 2 more
Senate: Democrats have locked up 42 seats, ahead in 2 more

House: Republicans have locked up 217 seats, ahead in 22 more
House: Democrats have locked up 128 seats, ahead in 57 more

Governors: Republicans have locked up 24 seats, ahead in 8 more
Governors: Democrats have locked up 13 seats, ahead in 2 more


I would like to invite folks to use the Los Angeles Times Senate, House, and Nationwide State Gubantorial candidate breakdowns.  It's a fairly good indicator of where things are headed.

Note: Make sure ALL is selected.  Then you can click on Senate, House, or Governors

These categories show current wins and gains.
 (Ex: Republican = 44 +4 / Democrats = 38 +2)  Note: + denotes leading in that many races in addition to already locked up

Senate: Democrats have locked up 43 seats, ahead in 2 more

House: Republicans have locked up 243 seats, ahead in 5 more  (291 needed for a two thirds majority / super majority)
House: Democrats have locked up 175 seats, ahead in 12 more

Governors: Republicans have locked up 31 seats, ahead in 0 more
