Do Koreans do turkey? or something else for their equivalent of Thanksgiving?
(hope you are doing well Tamar)
That’s a good question and yes Tamar is very well missed along with the rest of those who use to post on the this thread.
I was going through old Savage Nation threads and boy did we have fun but we’re still having fun.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and big thank you for doing this thread.
Rock n Roll Friday!
Fill in Friday. talking hillary’s lack of response to Fergudishu
She’s staying far away from that issue that’s her husband’s department being the so called first black President and all.
She doesn’t want to be tarred with obozo’s problems if she wants to run for Pres.
Agreed
I have everything to make Kimchi pizza I am also going to add bacon I just hope I don’t eat sauce before making the pizza. ha!
Expats in Korea used to have an impossible time celebrating Thanksgiving in our tradition with the large turkey, cranberry sauce, etc.
Some make do with chicken, especially those expats who live in the Korean countryside. An American Thanksgiving in Korea
In the last couple of years, things have improved a little bit, for those living in the big cities, like Seoul. Costco in Korea (and some other large grocery chain stores) stocked some smaller turkeys but many Korean apartments don't have an oven or if they do have an oven, a large 20+ lb turkey would never fit into it. So you make do, adapt, improvise and go with it.
I didn’t do any cooking, FIL did it all. I just showed up.
It’s been so long but now that Savage is on the air during the noon-3 p.m. time, it’s impossible for me to show up on the thread in real time.
Hey, good to hear from ya. I ended up having duck, along with some traditional turkey, at a friends house for Thanksgiving. It was an interesting choice. The duck was soaked in apple juice over nite and stuffed with apple slices before roasting.
Awesome to hear from you my thanksgiving was great.
Savage!
Howdy, infidel. Talking hagel and DOD, it sounds like. Hagel was a fool to take the post in the first place.
Yeah he was
