“Teaching them a lesson” and abstaining has proven to be a fools game, over and over. But some are incapable of learning from history.

So electing republicans that vote to enshrine McConnell and Boehner at the seat of power.. is NOT A FOOLS ERRAND?..
Republican reps.. ELECTED THEM.. EVEN THEM..

True “IS”...... Boehner and McConnell have FINANCED Obama’s Agenda..
They could have cut him off at the knees.. BUT DIDn’T..

The entire Executive Branch Agencys(all of them) could be and still could be DE-FINANCED..
Obama needed serious HELP to do what he has done..

We have three Governments not just the federals..
Local, State and Fed...
All the important useful stuff is done by State institutions..

SHUTTING DOWN the fed government IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN Government..
This is the LIE!.. falsehood.. scam... disinformation..

The electorate yesterday obviously did not mind that Boehner and McConnell will be the leaders. Do I wish both were much more conservative? Yes! But you play with the hand you are dealt. Until TEA party elects majority of republicans in congress, how do you propose to get rid of Boehner & McConnell? By electing Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid? No thanks!

Cold hard reality is many conservative republicans lost primaries in many states such as KY, MS, KS(?). If they can’t win in a republican primary, how are they going to prevail in General with all the democrats voting? I understand reality is a beyotch. But so is life. You play with the hand that is dealt.

And also, I agree with you that shutting down the “non-essential” parts of federal government is NOT shutting down the government. Last time that happened I had zero problems. Actually the traffic was better in Seattle!

However...the settled conclusion is the republicans end up getting blamed for government shutdowns. Blame MSM, blame low information voters, whoever...

At the end of day the only approach which can work for conservatives is nominate good candidates such as Cory Gardner, and avoid nominating likes of Mourdock. Staying out of the game is a loser.
