Voting is a patriotic obligation. I vote in every election and will continue to do so, no matter how much damage Obama, the far left, and complicit RINOs do to our country.

Voting for individual positions is a tricky choice. I vote for the most conservative candidate who (1) is acceptable, and (2) has a chance of winning. When the democrat nominee is polling 15% ahead of the republican, I vote republican if our candidate is a conservative - to show the GOP that I support conservatives. When the democrat nominee is polling 15% ahead of the republican, I vote LIBERTARIAN if our candidate is a big government liberal - to show the GOP that I oppose unconstitutional positions. When the republican is polling within 4% of the democrat, I vote republican unless the GOP chose someone anti-gun - in which case I vote libertarian.

This year, there are republican candidates for governor and for US Senate who fall far short of my first choice from the primaries. However, there are no republican governor candidates in the general election who are so terrible that I would skip voting, and the same is true for US Senate this year. We’ll fight again in the 2016 primaries, and we’ll have a few more victories. We’ll fight again in the 2016 primaries, and we’ll pull some RINOs who like staying in office a little more to the conservative, pro-Constitution side from 2014-2016 as a result. That’s a victory too, if they vote to uphold the Constitution, limit taxes, and protect the Second Amendment, whether or not they are sincere.

So, if a RINO wins but by a smaller margin than a conservative, does that send any kind of a message that gets heard? e.g. Here in Texas, if Cornyn wins but does so by a smaller margin then others on the same ballot will it get noticed?

So if you find yourself in a state where the Senate race is close, and you don’t like some of the things the Republican candidate stands for – just stay home.

Yeah! That worked really well in '12, didn't it! At least some of the RINO's could, I repeat, could, be dragged kicking and screaming to conservative thinking.

What a stupendously great way to identify the Obola/Reid Supporters and Democrat operatives.

If you have the power to put your brand of conservative in the race do it at the primary. After that, support any move to the right no matter how compromised and plot for the next primary. Sour grapes only strengthens our enemies. The dimicrats had to take over the public schools and raise a five generations of communists to enable them to get control.

Great idea. Let the fascists use Lois Lerner types to further entrench their tentacles in government. With the Dems there will be no more dead Democrats voting, no more “mis calibrations” on electronic voting machines, and no more liberal judges to decide against conservatives.

Not to vote...is to vote....for a person that is even worse than the one you passed on.

I like to focus on who I’m voting out.

Lesser of two evils? Absolutely! Every time! I can’t recall being fully aligned with any candidate, ever (after 21 election cycles).

This seems like common sense to me.

For those who throw away their vote, please let me know when the politicians have received the “message you are sending.” I’m not sure what success looks like.

The time to fight for a good Republican is before and during the primaries.

Whether you like any candidate or not, your duty as a voter is to keep the worst person out of office, not to keep yourself “pure.”

Not voting is casting one-half of a vote for the Democrat. That doesn’t keep you “pure.”

I’m all for a battle royale for the soul of the Republican Party, but not until AFTER the Democrats are vanquished. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Yeah; right! It's always: "Go ahead and vote for low-life scumbags like Thad Cochran and Mitch McConnell, people who hate you and think you're an idiot, we'll get 'em next time." I'd like to ask the author of this Article how that's been working for him for the last 3 Decades. It hasn't been working for anyone else.

The rhino hunters here on Free Republic who hate and want to punish the iRepublicans for their perceived ideological impurity reminds me of the Spanish Civil War where the communists and anarchists on the Republican side spent more time in fighting and killing each other which made Franco the winner.

We are in a war for the direction of the country and so far, our side is getting it's collective butts kicked.

We need to close ranks and win the war because a vote for any Democrat is a vote for Harry Reid and Obama as these two are 100% in control of the Democrat Party. The only way to stop them is to oust Harry Reid and get enough of a working majority in the Senate that power hungry guys like McCain can't form their Gangs of Eight to act as swing vote blocks and spoilers.

After we have won, we can work on purging any Republican needs purging.

First we have to win the war.

Anything else is simply blue on blue fratricide that lets the enemy win an undeserved victory

RINO hunting season is primary season. Don’t hunt RINOs out of season. But, come primary time, take your bag limit.

Let’s be GIGA-OPTIMISTIC and say that the November elections result in both Senate and House having more than 68 percent Republican.

Even with such Gigaoptimism, Traitorobamacare would still not be overturn, much less Traitorobama be impeached and convicted.

The way I’ve explained it to my husband, who feels the same way as the author of the article, is when the dam is bursting you don’t look around for the perfect material to fix it. You fix it with what you’ve got, and worry about the right material later.

I’ve been saying this on this web site in one form or another for at least 10 years. Over the past 2-3 years I have been leaning toward believing that a healthy percentage of the “purists” on this web sit are democratic trolls. The gradual slide into irreversible socialism has been like the proverbial frog in a frying pan that doesn’t realize the pan is hot until too late. It probably is too late for us now, but we have to continue to put a good fight to the end. Can you bring yourself to vote for effing Romney or McCain next time? Just maybe?

Tennessee’s governor is a RINO. HE WILL BE GOV BY DEFAULT.

It is the 4 Amendments on the Nov ballot we want passed.

YES ON 1, 3, 4 if your morals allow gambling. HELL NO on 2 unelected LIBERAL JUDGES.

#3 stops a payroll tax and strengthens State Constitutional law on NO state income tax.

#4 will expand the lottery or gambling to .orgs, they are not listed, supposedly for Veterans groups. But you know how that camel’s nose under the tent goes. Legislature will be naming the .orgs. So think about it hard before you vote or you could end up supporting a .orgs like Planned Parenthood, depending who controls the state legislature and governorship.

TURN IT UP! YES ON 1
http://youtu.be/_G2rjhmo4v8

AMENDMENT 1
THE UNBORN. Tennessee has Amendment 1 on the ballot for Nov. Planned Parenthood is donating from across the USA to stop us. NO STATE can over turn established Constitutional law Roe V Wade. That has to be done at the federal level.

YES on 1 will allow us to regulate those clinics, make them meet hospital codes, health inspections, and allow for counseling before a decision is made. And the person seeking one to pay for it themselves! PP has pulled out all the stops on lies. As it stands there are NO regulations on these Unborn murder mills.

We are asking Tennesseans to NOT vote for the governor. Due to the weird way it takes to amend our state Constitution. We would need a 2-1 vote.

The less votes the governor who will be governor by default, gets the better chance we have of passing Amendment #1. NO state can over turn established Constitutional law as in Roe V Wade, life of mother, rape or incest. This wording is in Amendment 1 for those who bother to actually READ it. TN is a 8 border state, #3 in out of state abortions. Forcing Planned Parenthood to meet state health codes and hospital criteria and making the person seeking the abortion PAY FOR THEIR OWN, instead of the Tax Payer will go a long ways to shut many of them down.

Amendment 1:
Shall Article I of the Constitution of Tennessee be amended by adding the following language as a new, appropriately designated section:

“Nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of an abortion. The people retain the right through their elected state representatives and state senators to enact, amend, or repeal statutes regarding abortion, including, but not limited to, circumstances of pregnancy resulting from rape or incest or when necessary to save the life of the mother.”

Is this piece the work of a democRAT? While this country is in a tailspin to the junk heap, some moron is trying to convince conservatives to stay home if their candidate isn’t conservative enough. Bad enough we must contend with another 2 years of Obama’s commie agenda. Getting back the senate would be great to shut up fellow travelers like Reid, Schumer etc. Just getting the senate would help to prevent radical leftist judges from getting elected.

Ok, so what your saying is this: If Payton Manning doesn't want to play against Tom Brady, he should sit this game out because he's afraid he's going to loose????

REALLY????!!!!

If you don't vote your getting the idiot in the White House back again, your letting Reid not pass any bills to further our Country, your letting the IRS get away with “the fifth amendment”, your letting our border remain wide open, your letting the idiot play more golf, should I go ON????

REALLY????

If that's the way you think, then maybe YOU should stay home and not vote, but just remember this one thing: IF YOU DON'T VOTE, THEN DONT_ITCH!!!!!!
