With Republicans confident of reclaiming control of the Senate, Democrats are looking to black voters in two Southern states to help preserve their majority.

Republicans, who are expected to keep control of the House in Tuesday’s election and need to gain six seats to win a majority in the Senate, have been bolstered by President Barack Obama’s low popularity ratings. But the president remains an inspirational figure for many African-Americans, and Democrats are pushing hard for high turnout among their core constituencies, including women and minorities....

They know you exist; they count on your votes. I know women split their votes, but far too many are baited into voting against their own best long-term interest with “war on women” buzzwords. Just as it befuddles me how so many blacks vote Democrat while their personal plights worsen, I can’t help but wonder what so many childless indoctrinated white women must be thinking as they face a lonely future working their tails off to support millions of gibsmedats...

I’m glad they are finally admitting that we will never be part of the same world; their message of soft segregation/racial hatred echoes what I see every day but the media denies/buries. The outstretched black palms to hard-working whites are just the icing on the cake.

This country has never been so far apart racially, and it carries over into the economic sphere.

Wow! What poll is that? Not doubting you, but I’ve not been able to find any “polls” on that race. I did read somewhere that Cochran was polling at 45%. If that’s the case and he’s up +22, Childers must be polling 23%; which to me is a little unrealistic since 38% of MS is Black, who vote Democrat 90% of the time. They helped Cochran steal the Primary nomination, but they will vote Democrat in the General Election. Guess we’ll know Tuesday night.
