This really isn’t a stay-at-home mom issue.
This is our government striving for cradle-to-grave control.
For the past 15 years, they’ve been trying to sell us the idea of “universal” (government-subsidized) day care.
“Working moms” surely will embrace the idea. And government-daycare will start out as optional.
Eventually it will become mandatory. That’s the end goal, if you listen closely to the rhetoric surrounding this idea.
A minority will. Most will not.
Have you seen those government preschool/after school facilities?
But I do agree with you that our government has been busy selling this idea for many years.
It's apparent “they” see little reason to support or celebrate traditional family structures and values.
How else could they grow their “business growth model” if they couldn't hire more DCF and government union teachers?
