Putin to Western elites: Play-time is over
ClubOrlov ^ | Wednesday, October 29, 2014

Most people in the English-speaking parts of the world missed Putin's speech at the Valdai conference in Sochi a few days ago, and, chances are, those of you who have heard of the speech didn't get a chance to read it, and missed its importance. (For your convenience, I am pasting in the full transcript of his speech below.) Western media did their best to ignore it or to twist its meaning. Regardless of what you think or don't think of Putin (like the sun and the moon, he does not exist for you to cultivate an opinion) this is probably the most important political speech since Churchill's “Iron Curtain” speech of March 5, 1946.

You sure have a way with words, but I’d be hard-pressed to find any fault in your analysis. Except you may want to include the feminazi’s in there as well.

If only the United States had heeded the advice of George Washington in his Farewell Address with respect to foreign relations. No UN, no Korean War, no Vietnam war, no messing in the affairs of other nations. Specifically:

“The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. So far as we have already formed engagements, let them be fulfilled with perfect good faith. Here let us stop. Europe has a set of primary interests which to us have none; or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies, the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves by artificial ties in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities.

Our detached and distant situation invites and enables us to pursue a different course. If we remain one people under an efficient government. the period is not far off when we may defy material injury from external annoyance; when we may take such an attitude as will cause the neutrality we may at any time resolve upon to be scrupulously respected; when belligerent nations, under the impossibility of making acquisitions upon us, will not lightly hazard the giving us provocation; when we may choose peace or war, as our interest, guided by justice, shall counsel.

Why forego the advantages of so peculiar a situation? Why quit our own to stand upon foreign ground? Why, by interweaving our destiny with that of any part of Europe, entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition, rivalship, interest, humor or caprice?

It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world; so far, I mean, as we are now at liberty to do it; for let me not be understood as capable of patronizing infidelity to existing engagements. I hold the maxim no less applicable to public than to private affairs, that honesty is always the best policy. I repeat it, therefore, let those engagements be observed in their genuine sense. But, in my opinion, it is unnecessary and would be unwise to extend them.”

He’s full of bluster, but that is not my definition of a real man.

He’s a leader that hjas manipulated his system to maintain leadership for sixteen years. Real men play by the rules and step down with their term is over.

You can’t bastardize the system, do immoral things to circumvent the rules, then come to me and claim the high moral ground.

You can’t trash others for not living the right type of life, when you have manipulated the system to your own advantage. He is as morally corrupt as those he seeks to denigrate. And I’m not defending their life-style any more than I am his.

He got a burr under his saddle to invade Crimea and annex it. He did so against international law. This wasn’t the act of a man with high morals. It was the act of a child striking out for whatever reason.

We have a guy that circumvented the laws governing his ability to hold power, circumvented the international laws to annex another nation’s territory, and has circumvented international laws to invade still more of neighbor state’s Eastern territory.

He has brought back the bluster of the U. S. S. R. He has ordered his strategic bomber fleet to violate the air-space of other nations.

These are not the acts of a man.

These are the acts of a person who not only can’t keep himself under control, much less the armed forces he commands.

He’s a rogue head of state on a number of levels.

This is not a man’s man. It is a child pretending to be one.

"7. Russia does not wish for the chaos to spread, does not want war, and has no intention of starting one. However, today Russia sees the outbreak of global war as almost inevitable, is prepared for it, and is continuing to prepare for it. Russia does not war—nor does she fear it."

In other words, Russia can't make up her mind and will be indecisive, until she steps in it. Same old Soviets.

Russians have always believed the world was conspiring against them - before during and after the Soviets, and Jewish bankers are always somewhere there in the conspiracy.

While I may disagree with Putin about the reasons why the U.S. or the west has taken, or takes, various positions, in many different cases, I would agree with Putin that the affects are often as Putin says they are - not good for many and often not good for anyone.

Obama has certainly put a scaling back of U.S. “dominance” to a test, with Putin and that test reveals that Putin is at least wrong, and a most a liar that such “dominance” is at the root of all international evil and mischief. Were that not the case, then what Obama the appeaser did for Putin would not have resulted in Putin taking Crimea and invading Ukraine by proxies.

No more diplomatic double talk - Grown up time, Boys.

Nato/UN/EU - NWO/Agenda 21 - were determined to grab Crimea/The Ukraine and other border countries of Russia.

He was the only world leader calling for the world leaders - well over a year ago - to join and stop the persecution/murdering of Christians. He was met with silence - and Christians nave been/are being slaughtered.

In contrast, O’Bummer as becoming to laughing stock in the eyes of the world - and our Narcissist in Chief got more and more incensed - then when Putin refused the demands of O’bummer and many other world leaders to bow down to the homosexuals - that, for our Pres_ent, who is determined to force them on us - was the last straw - and so we started to kerfuffle in the The Crimea and Ukraine.

Putin stands in the way of the NWO/Agenda 21. He is not alone, ( he has many smaller countries with him, standing against these demands) but he IS, it would seem, the only World Leader standing against homosexuality being taught in schools, parading in the streets, etc, he is the only one protecting Traditional marriage, he is the only one calling for the protection of Christians, against abortion, etc - IOW, the morals/society we grew up with, but which is disappearing fast.

So flame away...if you think OUR ‘leader’ is more trustworthy, has OUR country’s stability and our traditional values at heart - good luck with that.

It’s interesting to watch the faces of the people in this meeting as Putin is speaking. I can’t picture the attention and look of respect on an audience listening to O’bummer. Indeed, Even his own DemRats - twice in the last week - get up and walk out on him while he’s talking.

Putin concludes with “Russia has made it’s choice...” We want to consolidate our society on traditional values and patriotism.”

Pray we can elect a leader that will be determined to do the same. (Putin’s approval rating in Russia is in the 80’s - Where’s O’bummers?)

We are going to have a Herculean task to overcome the damage down to our country...if we even get the chance. I am really afraid for the next two years. I am not nearly as afraid of what Putin is ‘up to’ as I am what OUR Dear Leader’s agenda is.

You have to admit, when the Russians go for the lie, it's usually an enormous huge, stupefying whopper of a lie.

It's also a good indicator that Putin has no intention of negotiating anything honestly-- How can anyone negotiate with a power that lies like this?

As for Russia's armed forces, they can't even defeat Ukraine.

I hope Vlady is studying Chinese.

good post - not based on uniformed, uneducated guesses.

Hmm - I was jesting (half) the other day with a friend that it might be nice if Maine seceded and went with Brunswick - ahahah.

I’d rather see Russia at the base than the 2,000 Somalis O’Bummer tried to force on us - free housing at the Base and free everything else on the taxpayers...and turning Brunswick into another Somali hell hole like Lewiston.

The Russian people, themselves, are very like us. You could take a few Russians out to dinner or anywhere with you - and people would be hard pressed to tell they weren’t natives. We are from the same stock - and we inherit more than just noses and eye color. Certainly more in sync with Russians than Somalis!

My daughter and family (hubby pilot) were stationed at BNA before it closed - and later were ‘on loan’ to the Royal Canadian Air Force in Nova Scotia. If we don’t take this country back soon - I’d rather be in NS - they are wonderful people.

Who knows but what we might all be wise to keep our passports current.

You say:” I think it is slightly different from the paraphrase by the bog author, so encourage people to read what Putin said.”

Better to listen - even tho translated. A long speech - but rapt attention from people listening. (No one’s getting up and walking out. ;)..)

“The time is right for Putin, and he knows it. America is being led by faggots and wimps, and the country is decomposing into an ash-heap of open-borders and cultural depravity. Putin has the biggest green-light before him that any despot could ever hope for.”

That’s a fact. And he and his new friends China and Iran are ready to blow right on through the intersection, because, as stated above, they have the green light. A green light turned on for them by the utterly corrupt and reprehensible and America-hating Obama administration. We all know some Democrats who brought this disaster upon our nation. So, when the whirlwind Putin mentions in his speech comes to pass, remember them.

Putin is a hard SOB and doesn’t mean us well.

But the biggest threat to our freedom and well being is Barack Obama.

Additionally, Obama is the man who is responsible for Putin deciding now is the time for him to make his move.

Obama’s flagrant and well demonstrated dislike for America, his determination to reduce our position, influence and power, coupled with his international weakness and perfidy left a power vacuum that Putin has been glad to move on.
