They lie about their opposition to faggotry and win supporters.

The 2006 congressional takeover playbook redux.

If he supports same-sex marriage, I would refuse to vote for him.

Shame on GOP for running such a candidate.

Never voted for a Dem in my entire life, but if confronted with such a scenario, yes I’d vote for the Dem over the Republican. No question about it. If I’m stuck between two degenerate candidates sending my country and community straight to hell, I’ll give that honor to the Dem.

I’ll never under any circumstances vote for a GOP candidate who is wobbly on fag-marriage. I’ll happily see the country burn to the ground first.

What is damaio’s stance on the first amendment? If he believes gay rights trumps it then he deserves to lose.

GOP establishment has branded a "New Generation Republican."

Wow, I'm shocked the GOP would laud such a candidate. /s

“New Generation Republican.”

They will do to the republican party what they have done
to everything else they have infiltrated, pervert it,
corrupt it and destroy it. Just like they did with the
Catholic Church. Gay republican is still the homosexual
agenda.

Scott Peters is a committed communist and Obama supporter.

Get this: neither I - nor I suspect many others on this board - are about to yield to subtle pressure to vote for a pro-gay marriage GOP candidate because "the alternative is so much worse."

Marriage (between a man and a woman - do we really have to define it here?) is the bedrock of society. There is NO MORE VITAL issue than protecting the family. If the pro-gay synmpathizers on this board think we should reward a soul-less Republican party that chooses to ignore the vast majority of its members in order to appease a radical 2% of GOP gay activists, they are sadly mistaken.

Do such people not see where this is going? Have they not seen the lawsuits and heavy fines and civil actions being taken already to suppress those who attempt to support traditional marriage?

If the elitists within the Republican Party succeed in blocking a plank supporting traditional marriage, mark my words: MILLIONS OF GOP VOTERS will walk away, resulting in the well-deserved end of the party.

They dont need more House Republicans to help Boehenr pass Boehnesty.

DeMaio fagged out on amnesty as well.

Rich Tisei in Mass.’s 6th district should stay true to his record in state senate and copy Scott Brown.

http://www.kpbs.org/news/2014/jul/11/demaio-peters-answer-questions-climate-change-immi/

Carl DeMaio: Any immigration reform must start by properly securing the border. If we do not fully secure the border today, we will continue to have crises like the flood of refugees we recently witnessed. Second, we must fully enforce laws on businesses who employ undocumented workers and expand the use of eVerify. Third, we must link immigration reform to welfare reform to ensure that public assistance is not being abused. Finally, we must adjust the number of guest worker and student visas to reflect our economic needs. I’m open to targeted programs for Dreamers, which is why I support Rep. Jeff Denham’s legislation allowing Dreamers who serve in our military to receive green cards.

If Renee Ellmers, Valadao, Nunes, Denham, Paul Ryan, Walden, Amodei, Joe Heck or any combination of the 10 worst amnesty supporting RINOS lose the general there will be no immigration reform bill coming out of the house.

Unfortunately most of these congress members will win because the Democrats are so far left.

I am one for voting for the Republican in the general.

DeMaio is the only exception I can think of.

I would not vote for the Dem, but also would not vote for DeMaio.

They should vote for neither.

This is exactly why any election should include none of the above, and why any candidate must receive 50%+ any fraction in order to be declared the victor. A two way runoff wouldn’t itself necessarily gain 50%+

I would have voted none of the above in the last presidential election and been glad to have different choices. Then I would have voted none above one more time until I had a real choice.

In the interim, the old president loses his job on the required date in Jan (Jan 20?), and the speaker of the house is interim president until a new candidate wins.

So when both options suck, write in a third.

Find your local Tea Party folks and see who they recommend.

We are not entirely without recourse in these situations.

That’s why every time liberal voters will vote Democrat over Democrat-Lite.

Republicans gain nothing by being more liberal, they only lose their base, without gaining anything else.

I have to ask, is their any difference between the candidates? Seems there is none. Both sound deeply disturbed.

I would vote for a Democrat over a Republican I deem unacceptable. That’s because the bad apple Republicans will infect the Party, and we need the Party to stand something so that we even have a shot in the long run to stop the destruction of what we believe in.

That’s why I would vote for the Democrat in Mississippi because the strategies that were employed against the Tea Party in the Primary are more dangerous to let stand than a single Senator.
