Marriage Group Backs Liberal Dem over Gay Republican
Breitbart ^ | 10/29/2014 | Michelle Moons

Posted on 10/29/2014 9:22:12 PM PDT by Mariner

In a Tuesday email to supporters entitled, "Carl DeMaio Wants You to Vote For Him, But He Totally Disrespects Your Vote," the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) has followed through on a promise to "actively oppose" the candidate the GOP establishment has branded a "New Generation Republican." The email endorses voting for the incumbent Democrat, Scott Peters, even though he is "wrong on the issues."

Scott Peters is a committed communist and Obama supporter.

They lie about their opposition to faggotry and win supporters.

The 2006 congressional takeover playbook redux.

If he supports same-sex marriage, I would refuse to vote for him.

Shame on GOP for running such a candidate.

Neither would I, but would you advocate the District vote for the Communist instead?

Never voted for a Dem in my entire life, but if confronted with such a scenario, yes I’d vote for the Dem over the Republican. No question about it. If I’m stuck between two degenerate candidates sending my country and community straight to hell, I’ll give that honor to the Dem.

I’ll never under any circumstances vote for a GOP candidate who is wobbly on fag-marriage. I’ll happily see the country burn to the ground first.

Yes, I wouldn’t vote for either of them, too. I can’t see voting for a liberal regardless of party affiliation.

It’s not the district’s Republicans’ fault; the California Democrat legislature adopted a “jungle primary” system in which all candidates run on the same ballot and the top two go to the general regardless of party, and the top two finishers were Sicko DeMaio and Commie Peters (with two conservative Republicans finishing third and fourth).

"I’ll happily see the country burn to the ground first."

Really?

Not me.

To me Marriage occurs only in a Church.

The civil unions sponsored by the state aren't worth the destruction of a single (r)epublican objective.

Yep.

If we are to have a government and a country that has become so sick and depraved as to legally and culturally regard two perverted homos as the same equivalent as a husband-and-wife, then it will be a government and a country that I have no interest in preserving.

The problem is that no matter WHAT a democrat campaigns on, they always "somehow" become a reliable liberal vote.

There are literally NO democrats who will buck the establishment.

Every once in a while you'll get a republican who will stick to his principles.

There used to be a democrat guy in Ohio named Tony Hall who not only was conservative on issues, but...gulp.. actually voted that way.

Guess what happened to old Tony?

I agree.

My vote is sacred. I will not vote for an abomination under any circumstances.

What is damaio’s stance on the first amendment? If he believes gay rights trumps it then he deserves to lose.

Here’s what I don’t get.

The National Organization for Marriage supports traditional marriage, and opposes homosexual marriage.

Both candidates running are in favor of homosexual marriage.

So why is the National Organization for Marriage even making an endorsement at all in this race, when both candidates oppose their stand on marriage???

Why would they endorse the Democrat because the Republican doesn’t support their view of marriage? Neither does the Democrat. What’s their point of saying anything in this race????
