California is not a climate victim, they simply redirected water from farmers to the cities.
cyclic climate...CA is mostly arid...desert...currently in a pretty nasty drought.
If it weren’t for water management, the Central Valley would have pretty much stayed arid, almost desert like.
It’s returning to its natural state as the water once used to grow crops is now being diverted to preserve a non-indigenous minnow and to satiate the water demands of the coastal elite.

California almonds were a victim of radicals. Irrigation was directed away from crops and into reservoirs to save a fish that was not endangered. Almond farmers cut down the trees and converted the land.
