(CNSNews.com) Of the 68,541 unaccompanied illegal alien children who entered the U.S. in fiscal year 2014, none were reported to have the enterovirus, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
CNSNews.com asked, Just to clarify, youre saying that none of the unaccompanied minors who have entered the U.S. had the enterovirus?
There were none reported to the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Kenneth Wolfe, spokesman for the Administration of Children and Families for the Department of Health and Human Services, told CNSNews.com in an emailed response.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the enterovirus 68 is one of more than 100 non-polio enteroviruses. The first case of enterovirus 68 in the United States was diagnosed in 1962 in California.

There are at least 71 enteroviruses other than polio that cause human disease. Only one of them is D-68.

How would HHS — or anyone — know for a fact that NOT ONE of the illegals had the enterovirus? Easy to say!!!
No. That's not what that article says. That article says that 3% of Central American kids who presented with flu-like symptoms had an Enterovirus. Not that 3% of all Central American kids had an Enterovirus.
AND, more important, while the 3% had AN Enterovirus, most did not have EV D-68 - the researchers found a "high proportion" of EV-A and EV-B strains. Enteroviruses are common. They're common in Central America. They're common in the U.S. They're common pretty much everywhere. And they typically cause cold/flu-like symptoms. So, the fact that 3% of kids with flu-like symptoms had an enterovirus strain would hardly be surprising, anywhere.
This is SO disturbing-—the level of lying!
This is one I clearly don’t believe.
See my comment at #43 - that article merely stands for the (unsurprising) proposition that some percentage of kids who present with flu-like symptoms have an enterovirus. Not necessarily EV-D 68 (and in most cases, an EV-A or EV-B virus), but an enterovirus.
NONE... REPORTED .... TO THE OFFICE OF REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT...
from Wiki: "Common sense is a basic ability to perceive, understand, and judge things, which is shared by ("common to") nearly all people, and can be reasonably expected of nearly all people without any need for debate."
It means exactly what I think it means.
Alternate Title: “Statistically improbable lack of symptomatic individuals indicates that unaccompanied illegal minors appear to be natural host for Enterovirus-68”
Good, HHS.
Now tell me where the 68,541 all went.
I’ll wait.
Bingo. I'm still amazed how all those widdle kiddies traipsed all alone across thousands of miles across deserts with no food or water, sneaked around drug lords and sex traffickers, and made it to the US without being attacked by wild animals and not one has any disease or one nit.
EV D-68 ping.
Nothing “reported”. Right.
Most people are not affected more than a cold/flu.
This means nothing.
The CDC has a backlog of 1000 cases to test for the virulent strain. No way have they tested all the sick kids that were reported in the “shelters”. Where are the 69K kids?
What about the rest of the illegal aliens brought here?
And I should believe them because???
:The Brave New Sick World” is clearly now in full effect.
these rubes would like to Nuke Ellis Island lest the populace at large learned of its efficient screening of the immigrants of old.
