This week, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) admitted that Ebola can travel through the air in aerosols, but claims that it can never go more than 3 feet.
Let's check their math ...
CDC (like the World Health Organization) admits that Ebola can be spread through sneezing or coughing.
But the CDC itself admits that flu droplets can travel 6 feet.
Mythbusters demonstrated that sneezes can nail people some 17 feet away:

"Honey, I'm going to the store. Where's my HazMat suit?"
First they said it couldn’t travel through the air and only remained active on surfaces for twenty minutes, isn’t that right?
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
“First they said it couldnt travel through the air and only remained active on surfaces for twenty minutes, isnt that right?”
Yep
I guess we’re lucky then that sneezing isn’t a symptom of ebola.
3 Feet in the subways of New York is 20 people or more.
Nothing new here. Just our daily OBAMALIES.
I believe it starts out with a fever and vomiting. But then, 230 doctors have died from it and they don't know how they got it.
We aren’t stupid. If ebola fluids are on a sick persons hands — what happens to others when money or coins are exchanged? What happens on stair rails, doors and elevator buttons? What happens in our sewer systems from defacation of ebola laden feces? BAN THE DAMNED TRAVEL ALREADY!!
re: Mythbusters demonstrated that sneezes can nail people some 17 feet away
Good episode. Maybe those guys should lend some help to the bozos at the CDC. Mythbusters actually believe in science. Real science. They don’t change their results to reflect the Obola administration dictates.
This has been intuitively obvious to everyone except the liars at CDC & DC.
Well heck, everyone knows Ebola laden droplets are heavier and can’t travel as far. Sheesh!
Correct. I've seen some mighty impressive projectile vomiting, but 20 feet is a stretch. Since sneezing isn't a symptom not sure why we should care how far a hypothetical sneeze could carry ebola.
But then, 230 doctors have died from it and they don't know how they got it.
Huh? There's not really that much mystery -- some of the protocols were badly written (e.g. order of removing gloves, vs. removing face mask) but the bigger issue is simply the shortage of sanitary facilities and trained nursing staff in West Africa. It's a heck of a lot easier to avoid ebola in a hospital than it is if you're operating out of a crowded, filthy hut without ready access to clean water, etc.
Well maybe normal stuff can travel 20 feet but maybe due to the density of obola germs they’re only good for 3 feet. Sounds like settled science to me. Does any one of these people have the slightest clue about ebola?
Seems like the CDC is run by the same folks at DHS & the Justice Dept.
who ya gunna believe - me or some doctor?
I disagree. There is a great deal of mystery and the CDC/Administration changes its story almost daily. You are entitled to your confidence, but I don't share it.
Sneezing may or may not be a symptom of ebola, but people sneeze and cough for other reasons. And the droplets certainly travel more than three feet.
Saying that Ebola can’t carry though the air has always seemed ridiculous to me.
