Worst case she loses three weeks of her time and is hopefully ebola-free, and more importantly can't spread the disease (if indeed the 21-day incubation period is correct, with all the lousy information we're getting I'm not so sure that our virologists and epidemiologists really have that nailed donw yet).
If you are in quarantine or had a medical emergency, give notice to your supervisor at work, chances are that they will understand your circumstances. There’s communication for such circumstances.
