All those facts you mention and yet Republicans still can’t win the Senate, with Obama in the middle of his second term.

Honestly your state condition will never, ever, ever be more favorable. In fact, it is pretty much impossible to have any more favorable conditions than that unless the Dem candidate raped a little boy.

And thus, the fact we can’t win, support my hypothesis that the part is defunct and that if it does remain the best they can ever hope for is about 32 total Senate seats forever, essentially a permanent Democrat super-majority.

Facts are facts. The Republican party is finito.

BTW Terri Land's "Return the power of infrastructure to the states" is one the national GOP would be wise to pick up on.

A post-election upheaval would require persons of courage, fortitude, and conviction.

......the perfect description of your fellow Freepers.....

Keep in mind, all of us are using the most powerful tool on earth to precipitate a massive upheaval---the internet.

“Losing in KS, LA, and Georgia is outright pathetic.”

Republicans will win all of those races, along with SD, KY, CO, WV, MO.

We’ll still pick up no less than 7 seats, more likely 8-9.

What races specifically do you expect pick ups?

Unfortunately, it may be more than that. GA appears to be slipping away, thanks to a Libertarian candidate sucking off about 5% from the GOP. Can’t afford many more slips.

Its why I encourage FReepers to join us on twitter where we take the fight (and education) right to liberals where they can't simply run away with their hands over their ears. THis story is from a couple years ago and we've become a lot more effective since then.

Why Conservatives Must Join the Battle for America On Twitter

Just yestrday I had it out in public with a Pelosi staffer who ended up blocking me but couldn't remove my comments from the Pelosi timeline. I accused them of stirring passions over a law more than 50 years old. They were screaming about women deserve equal pay and I pointed out the Equal Pay act that was passed in 1963. I then suggested that her followers should question why the democrats aren't filing lawsuits if all these women aren't getting equal pay. (that's when she blocked me)

I hope so. I see latest polls have Roberts tied with Orman after being behind. Seems Kansans are coming to their senses. Now if only Milton Wolf would endorse him, but he is being a sore loser. (Mind you too, I am friends with the Wolf family). I see LA going to a runoff, and I am confused to why the combined votes would not be enough to beat Landrieu in the end? I see people predicting her to win the runoff. Also in GA, I see polls showing Nunn ahead of Perdue. He should not have been bragging about outsourcing American jobs.

Terry Bowman is a Michigan Union thug I would vote for. He was a mover and shaker behind RTW in Michigan and is running against Debbie Dingell.

Agreed. Like our weather, we are very unpredictable. The Dems/unions ARE going to rely heavily on cheating, though.

The simple fact is that, candidates and parties don’t win elections. What it takes is people who are motivated to do what it takes to carry their candidate to victory.

I’m comfortable with graphics and talking to people online so that’s what I do. Others are great letter writers and can write letters to the editors of newspapers. Some folks are great with video and they can do that. Others are great at knocking on doors and talking to people.

Just yesterday my new neighbor came down and asked me about my opinions on conservative candidates. They’ve only been in Michigan for about 6 months and don’t know the candidates. I told them that I would vote straight GOP in the race while making sure to vote for Redford, Zahra, and Viviano for state supreme court.

They don’t do computers so I’m printing up a sample ballot for them.

Its hard to say what the private sector unions will do at this point. Despite the protests in Lansing when RTW passed, a LOT of those people were from outside the state and polls showed that some 40% of union members supported RTW.

Terry Bowman is a great example of division within the union.

“If the GOP-E want to marginalize the conservatives like Cruz, as conservatives believe, then they would want to have a majority large enough to not require their votes. The GOP-E is desperate to have as large a majority as possible, so they don’t need to listen to Cruz.”

Exactly, in fact the GOP leadership admitted this is their desire. They have stated that they hope to win additional seats in the house in order to be able to marginalize the conservatives that they have to continually battle....

The GOP is toast and they deserve to be toast.

GOPe wants the senate just as much as they want Ebola.
Get real people. Status quot is all we will get.
There will be no elimination of Obama care or impeachment or anything
beyond status quot.
Status quot=continued growth of central federal power and increased tyranny.
I hate to be such a bummer, but its true.
