Reminds me of the Apollo Astronauts: all three of them were placed in a plastic containment for a week after coming back from the moon, just in case some wierd disease existed on the moon. It later turned out they were perfectly fine, and that there weren’t any of the germs feared on the moon, but the guys at NASA were pretty precautious about the astronauts, their families, and people in general. Nowadays, we can’t seem to find someone with the kind of sense that the folks at NASA used to have, much less half of it, given that we had someone operating in a known disease hot zone, the guys at NASA took extensive caution for what was unknown.
