Coumo and Warren Wilhelm Press Conference
At least not until after election day.
#PRESS2FORENGLISH
My point was if Ebola finds host animals in this country it will then be native here as it is now in Africa. I am more concerned about pigs and dogs here than monkeys, we do have large bat populations though. I have read that antelope in Africa can be suspect, what about deer, elk, etc. here? I don’t know if enough is known to know how it will interact with critters here. Some have said dogs might be carriers.
This article is interesting: http://news.discovery.com/animals/ebolas-deadly-jump-from-animal-to-animal-140730.htm
With pigs and bats, there is a strong point. They are related to an extent to their African counterparts. A lot of pigs are packed in confined spaces, making it a nightmare if anything from an accident to a whacko were to get a pig to be a carrier. Bats are already risky for being flying rabies carriers. I would want to keep just the rabies threat, please.
Sorry I wasn’t clear-I was referring to Nina Pham’s boyfriend in Dallas in my post, not Dr. Spencer. Pham’s bf appears to be ok; Dr. Spencer in NY, not so much, sadly.
