A doctor who recently traveled from West Africa has tested positive for the Ebola virus at Bellevue Hospital.
BREAKING NEWS - INFORMATION BELOW WILL BE UPDATED SHORTLY
Sources have identified the patient as Dr. Craig Allen Spencer, 33, who was working with Doctors Without Borders and recently returned from overseas. He was transported through the city's EMS system and was tested for possible Ebola-like symptoms. He tested positive Thursday night.
He is an American citizen, and sources say he arrived on Brussels Airlines Flight 501 from Brussels to JFK Airport on October 17. His flight history originated in Guinea. Spencer returned within the last 10 days.
Doctors Without Borders says he had contacted their office on Thursday morning to report having developed a fever. He had been self monitoring, as per Doctors Without Borders guidelines, quarantining himself. He had 103 fever and gastrointestinal problems when he was taken to the hospital from his apartment on West 147th Street in Hamilton Heights at 11:52 a.m.

Yes. Gallifrey has instituted dematerialization bans for all TARDIS arrivals. The Daleks have started an extermination campaign.
The Doctor isn’t going to be pleased when he finds out. Maybe he’ll regenerate again because of it.
I hope Doctor Who doesn’t infect his companion, though I must say, I’d give anything to have Amy & Rory back.
I believe he rode a taxi. Obola a gift that just keep on giving. His girlfriend is being quaratined - I hope.
and riding the subway?
Yes, an article posted above said he took a subway and a taxi.. Ugh.
ROFL I can see them catching her by lasso.
It was just now crawling across the TV screen!
This is not helping the Demoncrats.
First a guy with a hatchet attacks NYPD, then ebola in the same day. Wow.

This is ALL on Obama’s head.
I used to google myself and, no... I'm not proud of that... I was once put on double secret time out! In all seriousness, Prayers up for Dr. Spencer and everyone who cares for him.
No information on how the doctor might have contracted the virus. There has been quite a toll of medical workers who’ve become infected in the three African nations.
Well, his temp spiked fast then.
