The IRS may have inadvertently figured out how to win its legal battles against aggrieved tea party groups: Give them what they wanted in the first place tax-exempt status.
That was a major reason a Republican-appointed federal judge on Thursday threw out two lawsuits brought by more than 40 conservative groups seeking remedies for being singled out in the tea party targeting scandal, a victory for the IRS.

How does that undo what happened in the past? You cant make theft go away by giving the money back Why not? That's all that the Clinton/Gore team did when they got caught taking illegal foreign campaign contributions from China (in exchange of technological secrets).

When this judge rots in hell, I wont be sad. When Lois Lerner gets a debilitating disease and rots in hell, I won't be sad.

Correct.

The government is now past the point of governing from authority derived from legitimacy.
It now only governs based on the threat of force.
We’ll comply, for now, but they need to understand that they are not legitimate and have not more moral authority than the mugger on the street corner.

Both of you are correct, just a different approach.

“But, I do think that or something close is what he was thinking.”
I don’t. I think its like all other cases where the IRS is
challenged. They are not going to loose no matter what. If
you destroy the IRS you destroy the full faith and credit
of the United States. You destroy it’s ability to tax
the people directly and you loose the only reason the
Federal Reserve will loan us money, the ability to pay
them back. This judge is just a puppet to the FED.
