CHICAGO — Early voting in Illinois got off to a rocky start Monday, as votes being cast for Republican candidates were transformed into votes for Democrats.
Republican state representative candidate Jim Moynihan went to vote Monday at the Schaumburg Public Library.
“I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” Moynihan said. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”
The conservative website Illinois Review reported that “While using a touch screen voting machine in Schaumburg, Moynihan voted for several races on the ballot, only to find that whenever he voted for a Republican candidate, the machine registered the vote for a Democrat in the same race. He notified the election judge at his polling place and demonstrated that it continued to cast a vote for the opposing candidate’s party. Moynihan was eventually allowed to vote for Republican candidates, including his own race.

I am, or was, an EE. How can an exact digitizable quantity, like a vote, be subject to a calibration error?
Or, if the calibration error is in assessment of when the box is filled in on a graphical screen interface, how can it default to an entirely different box which wasn’t touched at all?
I find it interesting that “calibration errors” always seem to change Republican votes to DemocRAT votes but never to change ‘RAT votes to Republican. I guess that’s pure coincidence.
This is precisely how the D’s keep the Senate this year. I’m now entirely convinced, the ballot box is no longer valid and does not work.

I am not an expert, but when I bought a Kindle fire table, I had to calibrate the touch screen. So this could be the case, at least if it only happens once.
But if it happens more than once, it is enemy action.

This sort of “calibration error” seems to be common and may explain the districts with 100% democrat votes. The crooks running the “Democrat” (more like Soviet Communists) Party disgust me.
If the Rats were smart, they’d embed a random generator that enables the random conversion a few votes here and there.
At this time, the machine vendor needs to be hauled into court to examine the code for malicious and intentional fraud.
And btw, the term “calibration” is a technical term that most LIVs have no clue what it means. Also, the use of calibration as the cause is an utter and unequivocal lie, and makes no sense at all.

UT OH--Technical difficulties with Cook County voting machines surface. When state Senate candidate Moynihan used the touch-screen, it improperly assigned his votes....... due to "improper calibration.” Same thing like going in for a surgery to have your gangrenous left leg amputated and the doctor mistakenly removes the right leg.......its only a “calibration error.”

....the NC State Bd of Elections discovered the illegal voters Tuesday when the DMV ran a search for DACA licenses. The DACA recipients on voting rolls will be sent letters requesting documentation that they are citizens. NC DACA beneficiaries are able to obtain drivers licenses, but are not able to vote.
The Winston-Salem Journal notes that it is likely more ineligible people may still remain on the voting rolls. Nearly 10,000 names on the rolls are tagged by the DMV as "legally present"..... But that doesn’t mean that all 10,000 are ineligible to vote. These were not US citizens when they got a license. They may have been green-card holders, foreign workers or foreign students, for example.
Earlier, election officials did a sample cross-check of 1,600 of the 10,000 “legally present” names against a DHS database and found that 94% were eligible to vote.....that means if the ratio held for the whole 10,000, 600 people would be ineligible...in a state where the Senate election is a dead heat. A DMV spokesman is now cross checking all the names....early voting is set to start Thursday.
