Approve and/or are so afraid of his skintone that they fear being labelled “racist” for opposing ANYTHING he wants.
I'm not sure that the skin-color is as big a deal as it's made out to be, by either Liberal
or conservatives
, especially in this context:
We can look back to the Bush Presidency and see how even then they failed to push for their professed beliefs: government accountability, constitutionality, responsible financial policy, etc — about the only thing you can put forward that they worked for semi-recently is the Partial Birth Abortion ban which, IMO, is probably more of a feel good
-law than anything else. (Heck, they won't even stand against things that piss the majority of most Americans off, like the NSA's domestic espionage.)
