Despite no official action from the president ahead of the election, the Obama administration has quietly begun preparing to issue millions of work authorization permits, suggesting the implementation of a large-scale executive amnesty may have already begun. Unnoticed until now, a draft solicitation for bids issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Oct. 6 says potential vendors must be capable of handling a “surge” scenario of 9 million id cards in one year “to support possible future immigration reform initiative requirements.” The request for proposals says the agency will need a minimum of four million cards per year. In the “surge,” scenario in 2016, the agency would need an additional five million cards – more than double the baseline annual amount for a total of 9 million. “The guaranteed minimum for each ordering period is 4,000,000 cards. The estimated maximum for the entire contract is 34,000,000 cards,” the document says. The agency is buying the materials need to construct both Permanent Residency Cards (PRC), commonly known as green cards, as well as Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards which have been used to implement President Obama's “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” (DACA) program. The RFP does not specify how many of each type of card would be issued. Jessica Vaughn, an immigration expert at the Center for Immigration Studies and former State Department official, said the document suggests a new program of remarkable breadth.

I have a really impossible time grasping this mindset. Do you honestly think the GOP that just promised you Amnesty is somehow more rational and less evil than the dems doing the same thing?

I’m not remotely kidding. Serious as hell here. What is it that makes you guys ignore every evil assed thing they do? Is it not enough they just let loose a plague on us because they refuse to callfor closed borders? Does it not matter that the amnesty they pushed for has already killed kids with the new polio? If death of children won’t make you turn your back on them there has to be a reason.
So what is it? You get just as much evil with the GOP as the DNC. What?

I say use this to our advantage. Republicans should put in a bill that stipulates that the company also provides voter ID cards. Go public with it. Force the rats to defend this.
Construction trades; carpentry, drywall, brick laying, tile setting, etc., etc.. When I was younger, I made good money as a carpenter and sheetrock hanger.
Out here in the oil patch the majority of new workers are Hispanic and their birth rate is much higher than Anglos. Many women are single mothers. Our local school district is building two new elementary schools, unheard of for a small town. They estimated 500 new students this year and they have nearly 600! And most are grades K-3. And though unmentioned, most students are Hispanic.
For work, if men can speak partial English, pass a drug test and drive a dump truck or 18-wheeler, they can get a job! Stores, restaurants, gas stations, Walmart, etc. all have bilingual clerks as Spanish is rapidly replacing English in these businesses.
I have been posting here for SEVERAL YEARS that the illegal alien numbers were closer to 30 million. Oh well...

No, Obama is fighting against a faction of ISIS, not against the movement, itself. What Obama wants is to replace the leadership of ISIS with the Muslim Brotherhood without sacrificing any of the gains that they have made toward the caliphate.
My point was that I don’t think he is doing any REAL fighting against anyone or anything. I think he is just wasting ammunition in the form of missiles so that we won’t have them when we really need them. It is probably what George W. Bush said he would NOT do, “...fire a two million dollar missile at a ten dollar empty tent and hit a camel in the butt.”

I think that Obama is targeting the top ISIS guys. There was an ideological split between the the Muslim Brotherhood and the faction who is running it now. It could be phony, but the Muslim Brotherhood wants to run the caliphate and include the Shiites and the Sunnis. So, maybe they just stepped back for a while, but the radical element doesn’t want to let go of the reins.

Back around 2005, one in 8 to 10 people in the US was illegal. The numbers have drastically grown since then. If they outnumber us in ‘16, then what?
Amnesty would be perfect legislation to pass in the lame duck period after the election. Democrats working with McConnell and Boehner to pass it.
These ID cards would indeed be used but because Republicans and Democrats worked together to create the scenario for their use.

I think the GOP will help Obama after the election, quite likely in a “lame duck” session before the end of the year and before the new Congress comes in next year....
They can vote against Obama on November 4th. .

Bath House is daring Congress to impeach him, on issue after issue. And Congress keeps backing down.
The core of the issue is that the fed gov, BOTH R’s and D’s, are against the taxpayers.
