Candy Crowley should always be prepared to be schooled on her liberal assumptions whenever Senator Ted Cruz is a guest on her State of the Union show as happened today when Crowley parroted the administration line that a travel ban from the Ebola Hot Zone nations of West Africa was both unnecessary as well as harmful. Watch how well Cruz set Crowley's mind on the path to learning that a ban on such travel, not liberal shibboleth talking points, is what is needed to halt the spread of that disease into this country.
Cruz follows up with a tasty after dinner mint in the form of a bonus zinger where he entertainingly slam dunks Crowley.

Cruz looking very presidential. That interview was fantastic! Crowley looked deeply concerned...about Obama falling approval ratings...furrowed brow and all..lol. Cruz smacked down every single irrational WH talking point.

The argument against a travel ban is pure politics.
1. 0bama himself said that it would be less effective than other screening measures. Thus, he openly admitted that it would be at least somewhat effective. All effective measures need to be taken. This is an obvious breach in logic.
2. Fauci and the public health care hacks have argued that a travel ban of individuals from hot zones would result in more deceptive behavior that would hamper screening efforts. Really. So somehow Liberians are going to get really good fake passports or visas in Liberia or Belgium and get through TSA and customs? The airlines aren’t going to check the passenger lists and connecting flights? They don’t need to resort to deceptive measures because the US government is handing out visas to hot zone victims right now.
3. Since the southern border is open, no screening will be possible if hot zone refugees enter via Mexico or Latin America. Well, yes, that’s a big part of the problem, but securing the southern border is unthinkable because we must have more undocumented Democrats at any cost; including American deaths by Ebola.
4. They could still get in via Canada. Yes, but that could be controlled if Canada and the US issued travel bands from hot zones jointly.
Cruz is a brilliant tactician, conservative and a deeply principled politician. He has a problem. His smile is weak because he has shoe peg corn teeth. A good dentist could give him a smile as brilliant as his mind.
If this guy (Ted Cruz) is elected to be “Majority Leader” of the Senate, just think of all the great teaching he could do for the public. But I’ve heard that Mitch McConnell is “the next in line” .. which makes me so mad.
We don’t need “the next in line” .. we need somebody with leadership skills, brains, and enough knowledge about America to take on the continuous assaults of the left; let alone the only senator so far that seems to have the courage to challenge the status quo of the left.
I’m so praying fervently for that to take place. Once the country begins to see the truth .. we may be able to get a few necessary things done to put America back on the right track.
He decimated all of her traps on Ebola so she went to other topics in a frantic attempt to trip him up.
1. She tried to blame republicans for not confirming an appointee for Surgeon General who she said would have been of service in organizing an effort to contain Ebola.
Ted said the nominee was so radical even the democrats would not confirm him and they have control of the Senate. That’s a slam dunk.
2. She tried to trap him into saying he would put US troops on the ground against ISIS.
Ted turned it upside down saying the Kurds were “our boots on the ground” but they were not getting the air support they needed because the airstrikes to date have been grossly insufficient. That was a slam dunk slap on her tactics followed by stating the facts and turning it back on Obama.
3. She finally opened up that Obama would appoint his new AG during the lame-duck session.
Ted slam dunked it saying that no political appointee should ever be confirmed during a lame-dunk session when many Senators are going to be packing and clearing out.

He is so smooth that I didn’t even see the potential pitfalls. Seems to me his law professor at Harvard said Ted was one of his most brilliant students ever.

Great interview to watch! Ted was in complete control of any topic she threw his way. At this point she has to realize there is no way to lay a leftist trap for Ted Cruz. The CNN viewership (all 38 of them) must be cringing.

She’s trying to help elect Dennis Richmond (Richardson ??) Gov of Oregon. I saw a debate he had with the current Gov .. and Dennis was just outstanding.
