The handyman left about an hour ago....got a new hand rail put up in my Mom's room. I moved the dresser with the little pads you stick under each corner and just "glide". Worked like a charm!

A couple more little things, and best of all the only step not managed with the stair lift is now only half as tall. It will be very weird for the able bodied, but make a huge difference for my Mom. Oh, and the roof is now blown free of 10 million leaves and the gutters are cleaned out. 3 hours and I'm a happy camper to have them all done.

A most impressive day of work! I got absolutely nothing done today except to chauffeur David and Daniel around.

The garden is not put to bed - probably won't get to it until next weekend.
